Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes must be feeling pretty confident, seeing as although the show STILL has yet to be renewed, six cast members have already signed new 2-year deals!

We guess that's a good sign, but what is taking ABC so long…?

Reportedly, Ellen Pompeo (Meredith), Patrick Dempsey (McDreamy Derek) and Sandra Oh (Cristina) will all be returning for the show’s ninth season!

17-year-old Weston Masset is just thankful to be alive!

He's the teen McDreamy Patrick Dempsey saved after his car flipped and crashed on the actor's front lawn in Malibu.

After Patrick went into into Dr. Derek Shepard mode and rescued the teen from his overturned car using a crowbar, Weston is now speaking out about much of a gentleman the Grey's Anatomy actor truly is.

He not only pried the barely-conscious boy out of the car, but he also alerted paramedics and his mother. AND, he even called her later that night to get an update on his condition.

Weston admitted:

"He was there for me. It would have been a lot worse without him."

Patrick Dempsey was quite the McDreamy lifesaver earlier this week when the actor saved a boy's life after a car crashed and FLIPPED onto his front lawn!

A teen driver lost control of his Mustang, causing a huge wreck in front of Patrick's Malibu home, which prompted him to come to his rescue at lightning speed!

Daniels will be playing the proctor for when the residents take their hellish medical board exams!!!

Last night, Grey’s Anatomy creator/producer Shonda Rhimes held the event Welcome to ShondaLand: An Evening With Shonda Rhimes & Friends in Hollywood!

Several of Shonda’s cast members were on the panel, including Grey’s Ellen Pompeo and Sandra Oh!!

Curious audience members tried to get the panelists to spill show secrets — especially about the upcoming Grey’s finale!!

When asked what would happen between Meredith and Derek, Pompeo answered:
