Or, we could all just start watching them more!

As we creep closer and closer to the end of this TV season, a crippling, all-consuming fear is starting to take over; a terrible sense that we might have to possibly say good-bye to some of our favorite shows. The worst news is coming out of The CW, who is gearing up to start production on a slew of new shows and may need to make room for them by axing some existing ones.

If we're to judge the shows purely on ratings, there are four shows that are in serious danger of facing the chopping block:

Here's the thing: we know a lot of you are big fans of Gossip Girl and there are even some of you who support our allegiance to the DAIR movement.(Thanks BTW!) But we're starting off this post with a not-so-spoilery picture to ensure that those of you who do not want to know what is going down in an upcoming episode of GG don't have your minds blown before then.

While Prince Louis continues to be a major jerk, Blair finds solace in the company of Dan. But will Lonely Boy be Blair's secret Valentine??

According to the Feb. 13 episode description, "Serena is shocked by something she witnessed at the party!"

That party is the Valentine's bash Nate is hosting… with everyone wearing Constance Billard-esque uniforms…

But wait, wait, wait!!! DAIR fans might be battling DERENA fans this time around, because "Blair can't resist playing cupid for someone she loves."

Hmmm… inneresting… very, very inneresting… after all, Blair definitely knows Serena has the hots for Dan again. But then again, maybe the oh so shocking event Serena sees is Dan professing his love to Blair!!

AHHH!!! So many theories!!!

Meanwhile, Georgina is talking up a perturbed looking Chuck Bass… that's gonna be fuNN!

Off on a wild (and sexy?) adventure? Will this be the moment Blair finally realizes she could have feelings for Lonely Boy? We'll have to wait and see!

Next week's Gossip Girl picks up exactly where the 100th episode left off, with Dan helping Blair runaway from her fairytale marriage gone dark and twisty. In these new stills released from The CW, you can see that the pair haven't gotten too far yet, but they're well on their way to making a daring escape from the Upper East Side.

You know, would it kill Blair to throw Dan a bone? Or least set him free so he can get back to Serena with a free heart? We think not!

We'll admit, we went into last night's Gossip Girl episode with HIGH expectations. We bought into all the hype about it being the 100th episode — the first series ever in CW's history to hit the milestone — and we were all set to weep, scream and gasp for air uncontrollably due to all the shocking surprises that were promised to us. And let us tell you something:

It did not disappoint!!! XOXO!!!

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD! AND WE ARE WARNING YOU RIGHT NOW, THE BIGGST REVEAL IN GG HISTORY HAPPENED LAST NIGHT, SO UNLESS YOU WANT TO MISS OUT ON A REALLY REWARDING SHOCKER, WE SUGGEST YOU AVERT YOUR EYES IMMEDIATELY! PLENTY OF OTHER STUFF FOR YOU TO READ HERE TODAY!

Don't scoff! It was made official by the honorable New York Mayor Bloomberg!

For the past five years, the Upper East Side has been the actual backdrop for the ongoing dramas on Gossip Girl. Over 180 crew members and 120 principal actors have lived and worked in the city while the show's been on the air, and the fiscal result as been profitable for the Big Apple. Some $200 million has been spent on local development just to produce the series and over 500 local vendors have reaped the benefits of the CW's presence in Manhattan.

This morning, in honor of the show's 100th episode and the impact it has had on the city, Mayor Bloomberg joined the cast, including Blake Lively, Penn Badgely and Ed Westwick, on their set in Queens to present them with an official proclamation dubbing January 26th Gossip Girl Day! In it's final paragraph, the proclamation reads:

OMGG! The wait may ACTUALLY kill us!

You've seen the pictures, you've seen the promo, but now we have an ACTUAL SCENE from the milestone 100th episode to share with all our fellow Gossip Girl fans! Now, whether you're a CHAIR devotee, a DAIR hopeful or even if you are holding out for DERENA, none of that is going to matter once you see how GORGEOUS Leighton Meester and Blake Lively look in their wedding attire. Hell, even Dorota looks like a ten! The Emmy for costuming this year goes to…

Now wait a minute! What do we have in this picture above here? Do we sense some … tension? Ah, indeed we do, but you'll have to watch the clip AFTER THE JUMP to see why there's a sour puss on both Dan and Serena's faces.

Also, if anyone sees Georgina Sparks in the clip, please let us know! We're DYING to see what she is up to, but we couldn't find her face in the crowd. We know she's there though, scheming something we can't wait to see!

We're not going to lie: we're not making any plans next week. We're ending the month of January by planting ourselves firmly in front of the television and allowing the magic unfold.
