Renee Zellweger cheated on her go-to designer Carolina Herrera last night!

The actress hit the red carpet at the Met Gala in a custom black silk Emilio Pucci gown with chiffon details and an organza train.

Peter Dundas also made sure the gown showed off Renee's best feature -- her back.

We think Renee looks pretty darn good. Do U???

If Renee Zellwegger has to be replaced by somebody for the next Bridget Jones movie (after the 3rd one), please please please let it be by Jennifer Lawrence!!

Jennifer is coming off an incredible weekend with Hunger Games making $155 million domestically, so we'd say she's going to have the pick of the roles afterwards…

And she would choose Bridget Jones!

New Bridget Jones Movie Delayed Due To Script Issues!

bridget jones third movie delayed

Bummer!

Earlier today, Working Title Films released the following statement regarding progress on Bridget Jones' Baby, which WAS just about go into production:

"Reports that Hugh Grant has exited Bridget Jones’s Baby are untrue. We are still working on the script hence the delay to the start of production, but the film is going ahead as planned."

The studio claims that the film will still shoot this year, but it could be much later in the year! A source close to the movie is saying that the cast/crew have been told that "the delay could stretch into the fall."

We just hope it gets made, sooner or later! We generally prefer original movies to sequels and threequels…but this is one we'd really like to see! Especially because the original cast will be back!

What do U think? Will the next Bridget Jones movie start production this year???

Lifetime is busy these days!

Television for women is adding another lady to their payroll. The network has bought Renée Zellweger's period drama series Cinnamon Girl, which Lifetime president Nancy Dubuc called “a game changer” for the cable network.

The provactive series is about four young girls who are living in Los Angeles in the late 1960s/early 1970s, and are surrounded by the El Lay musc and movie scenes of the time. Part of the series is semi-biographical as Zellweger’s real-life journey from small-town Texas to Hollywood stardom will be featured, combined with the lifestory of her co-creator Anthony Tambakis, who was big into the Laurel Canyon music scene.

Renée will act as a co-executive producer for the series as well as co-write the pilot with Tambakis. In a statement about the project, Renée said:

Excellent!

We'd be lying if we said we weren't really forward to this!

Now that the long-awaited second sequel to Bridget Jones's Diary is officially in the works, and Renee Zellweger and Colin Firth are confirmed, the latter actor, otherwise known as Mr. Darcy in the series, opened up about the project, and says that working on the flicks is like a "fraught family reunion!"

He explains:
