And we thought WE were the most excited!

There are a ton of reasons to be excited about Captain America: Civil War — heck, it's basically Avengers 2.5 since it stars not only Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. but also Scarlett Johansson, Elizabeth Olsen, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Sebastian Stan, Paul Rudd, and newcomers Chadwick Boseman and Martin Freeman.

Oh yeah, and it introduces Tom Holland as a little known character that goes by the name Spider-Man!

We've been HIGHLY anticipating the wall crawler's return to the big screen — and in the Marvel Cinematic Universe no less — since the lackluster sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man. While we won't get a full standalone movie from Sony until the summer of 2017, Cap 3 will introduce the newest version of the web slinger!

Leading up to the superhero flick, Holland has given us plenty of reasons to get excited by doing things like sharing his training regimen via Instagram.

But now we have more reason to anticipate the film as the young star recently gushed to The Belfast Telegraph saying:

This means the 50-year-old's criminal record is officially wiped clean!

In case you didn't know, the thespian was repeatedly arrested in the 90s for drug-related crimes. He served a total of two years and eight months in jail, and completed his parole in 2002.

In October, the New York native received an order from a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge, who believes he has "lived an honest and upright life, exhibited good moral character, and conducted himself as a law-abiding citizen."

The pardon reads:

"By completion of his sentence and good conduct in the community of his residence since his release, Robert John Downey, Jr. has paid his debt to society and earned a full and unconditional pardon."

Most of the people who were forgiven had minor drug offenses that are no longer felonies under California law.

Congratulations to RDJ!

12 Days Of Perezmas: 6 Awkward Interviews!

On the 6th day of Perezmas, pop culture brought to us… 6 awkward interviews!

Who could forget the time Robert Downey Jr. walked out of an interview with Channel 4 News earlier this year after the reporter asked him invasive personal questions about his dark past?

Back in April, interviewer Krishnan Guru-Murthy tried to turn the simple press junket for RDJ's Avengers: Age of Ultron into an intense Diane Sawyer-esque interview when he asked the actor:

"You've talked about the relationship with your father and the role of all of that in, you know, the dark periods you went through. Taking drugs, drinking, all of that. And I just wondered whether you think you're free of all that?"

Obviously, the 50-year-old was taken back by the questions and abruptly ended the interview.

But this is just one example of celebs that endured cringeworthy sit downs — Cara Delevingne, Amy Schumer, and Ariana Grande all experienced pretty awkward interviews this year as well!

Justin Theroux Responds To Zoolander 2's Transphobic Backlash — Comparing It To Tropic Thunder 'R-Word' Controversy! See What He Said!

The highly anticipated trailer for Zoolander 2 got fans excited for the sequel when it dropped last month, but it also managed to spark major backlash for its portrayal of a "non-binary" character!

Some LGBT activists called for a boycott of the upcoming sequel after taking offense to a scene featuring Benedict Cumberbatch as an androgynous supermodel called "All."

Justin Theroux, who co-penned the script for the comedy, has responded to the criticism, promising that the scene was meant as satire and was taken out of context!

Video: Justin Almost Died On His Honeymoon With Jennifer!

Speaking to The Wrap, Jennifer Aniston's husband said:

"I don't even know what to make of it, because it hurts my feelings in a way. I take great care in the jokes I write, and the umbrage being taken is out of the context of the scene. I wish people would see the movie first. Satire is a thing that points out the idiots, and we went through it on Tropic Thunder with the ‘R' word."

Back in 2008, The Leftovers actor got heat from disabled groups who blasted Robert Downey Jr.'s repeated use of the word "retard" in Tropic Thunder!

But according to Theroux, that was used as a comedic device to comment on the ugliness of people who use that word! He added:
