Last night, most of El Lay piled into the world-famous Hollywood Bowl to watch Coldplay in concert.
More than a few famous folk had tickets to see the British band rock the bowl before they play American Idol tomorrow.
Among their celeb fans was a VERY enthusiastic Robert Downey Jr. and his producer wife. They recently had a baby, and he has been VERY busy promoting The Avengers. This concert must have been a well deserved break for them!

The Avengers hasn't even come out yet, but Robert Downey Jr is positive the flick will be the grandfather of multiple Marvel movies!
Iron Man 3 — which is kinda of an Avengers spin-off — is already in production, and RDJ recently revealed that movies for Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) could be next!
At a press conference RDJ told reporters:
"All three franchises that we’ve launched so far had to work. If this didn’t work, it [would have] affected all the previous franchises extremely adversely.
There’s also the potential for additional franchises based on how strongly people are reacting to Jeremy , Scarlett and Mark [Ruffalo, who plays The Hulk]."
So Exciting!!
Based off the success of Avengers's other spin-offs Thor, Captain America and the first two Iron Man movies — the odds of Scar Jo and Renner getting their own 90 minutes seems totally within reach!

Jessica Chastain is reportedly in negotiations to appear in the Shane Black-directed third installment of the Iron Man franchise. Jessica will play a "sexy scientist," who is apparently just as smart as the superhero Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr.!
Apparently, the Academy Award nominee was initially the top choice for the part, but she unfortunately couldn't commit due to scheduling conflicts with other projects, including the Kathryn Bigelow-directed Osama Bin Laden movie!
