We can't begin to imagine what Alexis Arquette's loved ones are currently going through.
As we previously reported, the longtime actress and transgender activist passed away on Sunday, September 11. Arquette was only 47 years old. So sad!
Alexis, who starred in various hits like The Wedding Singer and Bride Of Chucky, first started working in the industry at 12 years old. Not to mention, the late LGBT influencer was siblings with Oscar winner Patricia Arquette and A-lister David Arquette. Alexis' siblings have since commented on the untimely passing on Twitter (below).
America, the home of the free, the land of… the immigrants!
Lupita Nyong'o, Rosario Dawson, Akon, Wilmer Valderrama, and LOTS of other celebs lent their time and message to an amazing YouTube video produced this week in conjunction with June being Immigrant Heritage Month, and we are loving it!!
Pointing out that all Americans come from those who were immigrants at one time or another, these celebs take a stand to support immigrants coming to this country still today even while some of our highest-profile politicians are so aggressively against them.
Ch-ch-check out the inspiring, forward-thinking video (above)!!!
P.S. Happy Immigrant Heritage Month, everybody!
It seems that black is the color of the evening!
Although black can often be viewed as a safe choice, we can't help but applaud these ladies on their dark numbers. While the Vampire Diaries alum showed off her curves in a bedazzled gown, the Quantico star stole the spotlight as she flaunted her cleavage in a lacy, black Zuhair Murad dress. Well done you two!
Not to mention, Rachel's ensemble featured subtle beadwork that we couldn't help but love. YAS!
Unfortunately, Miz Dawson's gown was definitely the safer of the four looks. Better luck next time, Rosario!
Who do YOU think rocked the color black the best? SOUND OFF in the comments (below)!
Don't ever say Rosario Dawson isn't passionate about politics!
The actress was arrested on Friday afternoon in Washington, D.C. while taking part in a protest with Democracy Spring, fighting against the scourge of money in politics.
The Daredevil star was part of a non-violent protest on Capitol Hill, where she and about a dozen other people crossed a police line and sat down in protest. From there, they were arrested — and then released just a few hours later.
First, check out Rosario and a larger group protesting as the police inform them of their arrests (below) before seeing Dawson's reaction to the legal incident:
Miley Cyrus is totally feeling the Bern!
The Wrecking Ball songstress hasn't been shy about sharing her political views to her social media following.
Now, Mileybird is at it again — but this time, she's not the only celeb who's voicing support for the Democratic candidate!
On Monday, the pop star shared a clip of herself vocalizing the presidential hopeful's historical support of the LGBT community:
