Sigh, they say time heals all wounds, but at this rate, we need all the time in the world!
After seeing all the sad and disheartening tweets from fans all around the world, the father of one decided to take to his own Twitter to sooth the heartbreaks.
Simon tweeted out:
He's so proud of his girls!
The X Factor girl band's debut album Reflection is out now, so to celebrate, Simon sat down with us to chat exclusively about working with the girls, how famous he thinks they're going to be, and what his favorite song off the new album is.
And to be honest, his favorite is totally our fav too!
But don't forget, Simon has already set his sites on making a Latino boy band with La Banda, so there's about to be even more amazing music in our lives!
Ch-ch-check out what Simon really thinks of Normani, Ally, Dinah Jane, Lauren, & Camila (above)!!
Ch-ch-check out the EXCLUSIVE video (above) to hear why Simon thinks the time is right for a Latino boy band, what makes 1D so successful, and what he'll be looking for in rising talents!
Then make sure to watch (below) as Ricky shares with us why this new group will make a real cultural impact, why social media is important to new artists, and what it will take to audition for La Banda!
The Latin superstar will be serving as a judge AND an executive producer on Simon's new reality competition called La Banda. Auditions will be held all around the country looking for the ultimate Latino boyband as part of the biggest talent search in U.S Hispanic television history!!!
Boys aged 14 and over will be able to sign up to audition in a city near them. All of the audition information can be found right HERE.
The reality competition is set to appear on the Univision Network this September, and we can't wait to see all the talent on display!
Naturally, there will be comparisons to One Direction, who were discovered on Cowell's The X Factor U.K. But rather than attempting to ride on the coattails of 1D, La Banda is embracing an opportunity to finally get the Latino supergroup that the world hasn't seen since Ricky's Menudo days!
And we'll be able to watch each piece of the group come together on TV!
And if you're interested in possibly participating on this historic show then we've also got all the information you need right here! Check out the La Banda audition dates and the cities where everything is happening down (below)!!!
Fifth Harmony's new album Reflection is coming on February 3rd, and it got us thinking about how far the girls have come!
Back when they were just third place on the X Factor Season 2 finale in 2012, we caught up with the quintet backstage!
Ch-ch-check out the Flashback Friday video (below)!
The man behind acts like 1D and Fifth Harmony has teamed up with Sony Music and Univision in search of ultimate Latin boy band in La Banda. Think Menudo for the 21st Century!
Hopefuls should live in the United States or Puerto Rico and be over the age of 14.
Cowell is looking forward to La Banda:
"I'm very excited about this show. There is a huge amount of talent out there and 'La Banda' is going to give five guys the opportunity of a lifetime."
Considering the boys of 1D were just a bunch of unknowns before Cowell's magic touch, we predict big things for La Banda!
