Steve Carell Joins The Cast Of A Mob Comedy

Steve Carell Mob movie

Does this guy EVER stop working?

Steve Carell is pumping out movies left and right — which all have a tendency to be good — and has added another project to his busy schedule.

The actor will star opposite The New Girl's Jake Johnson in an as-of-yet untitled mob comedy.

The details are few and far between, but if Carell thinks it's going to be a good movie, then we trust his judgement and are already looking forward to seeing it!

Filed under: TV News > Steve Carell

While we loved The Office with captain Steve Carell at the boss wheel, and although we think Ed Helms is awkwardly HIGHlarious…just let this show die already!!

Along with a Rainn Wilson centered spin-off, it seems Office execs are looking to stretch the British-born franchise until breaking point by creating a whole new revenue center show:

Steve Carrell Is Awful, Terrible

Steve Carrell Is Awful, Terrible

Which is really good news!

It has been almost 2 years since we heard that 20th Century Fox and 21 Laps Entreatment had plans to adapt beloved children's book, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, into a "high concept" movie.

Now, it sounds like they're FINALLY working on getting this project out of development hell.

Judd Apatow Talks Anchorman Two

juddapatow.jpg

Last week Will Ferrell got all dressed up and announced Anchorman 2 is definitely going to happen and we could NOT be more excited — yes we just peed our pants and no we don't care.

This week funny man Judd Apatow briefly talked on what the next step is for Anchorman 2, as he goes:

"Now is the moment where Adam McKay and Will Ferrell disappear into a small room and write it. So I'm as excited as anybody to hear what they want to do this time."

We're excited, too!!!

Who wouldn't be?

Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Christina Applegate.

The film will probably cast a whole boat load of other actors, as well.

Maybe Jason Segel, Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill.

Any ideas, Judd?

"All our dream cameos are actual anchormen. So who knows?"

Uhhh really? You feeling OK, Judd? Well, anyway, it ain't for us to question comedic legends!!! But, seriously, actual anchormen? Hmmm…..

Will Ferrell Confirms Anchorman Sequel!!!

Will Ferrell aka Ron Burgundy made a very 'classy' announcement on Conan last night.

We'll save you the long story and give you the short…

Anchorman 2 is official and we are in a freakin' glass case of emotion!!!

Not only is Will Ferrell's best character ever coming back- other HUGE stars have promised to return, as well.

Steve Carell, Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd.

Plus, Judd Apatow is producing AND the original director, Adam McKay, is back to helm the return of the cult classic.

You stay classy, Ron Burgundy.

Is The Office Looking For Yet Another Boss?

stevecarrell.jpg

First, Steve Carell left. Later, James Spader left. Now we’re hearing that Paul Lieberstein who is the showrunner on The Office, and also plays the wonderful character Toby, is considering leaving the show.

But he isn't going far from home, so to speak.

Lieberstein is considering a new showrunner gig on Rainn Wilson’s new spin-off, which is based on The Office. Wilson’s own television show is still in the development stages, so nothing is confirmed and no matter what, Toby will remain in the cast. But if Lieberstein does leave …

Could Steve Carell return to The Office? We doubt it. But anything is possible, right??

What do U think about the possibility of The Office seeking a new show runner??
