Things are heating up! Good thing too — there isn't much time left!
We're about halfway through the final season of Desperate Housewives, which means the scandals are going to get more intense and the viewers should be flocking to ABC to see how it all wraps up.

Are you watching the final season of Desperate Housewives? Good, because that is the last you are ever going to see of these ladies in one place again.
During the show's TCA panel this week, Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry two very important things for long-standing fans. First, he has decided to make good on his promise and make cameo in his show's series finale. He wouldn't reveal how or what character he would be playing, but he referenced the bit being very Hitchcock, so you might actually have to keep your eyes peeled to find him.
Secondly, he confirmed that

But staying the course isn't going to do them any favors. They need to start making a splash in the ratings if they are going to have any hope of staying in flight on ABC.
Christina Ricci's Pan Am, while getting a five episode order last week, is still in danger of getting canned, drawing 5.24 mil last night with a 1.8 rating. Par the course, but not stellar enough to guarntee it's safety.
Meanwhile, ABC's other freshman drama Once Upon A Time held up, with 11.4 million total viewers and a 3.7 rating, tying with The Simpsons. Finally, Desperate Housewives isn't going out with such a bang, bringing in only 8.7 million and a 2.8 rating. They could do much better.
Still, could be worse….

We imagine now that she isn't contractually obligated to stay close to Wistera Lane, she's going to be doing a lot more traveling like this!
Teri Hatcher is getting her tourist on this week, taking in all the sights, sounds and smells of Berlin, Germany. Yesterday, she spent the morning examining and experiencing the Berlin Wall, particularly the East Side Gallery, which has a mile long stretch of fascinating paintings.

Harsh.
The season opener of Desperate Housewives' last season premiered to its lowest ratings ever.
It seems like TV viewers are more interested in watching football than ladies who are probably a little bit past their prime.

In just a few short weeks, Despearte Housewives will premiere the first episode of their last season and though it's bitter sweet, we have a feeling that the ladies will deliver this season like never before. Last week, it was announced that life on Wisteria Lane would finally be coming to an end as this upcoming seventh season of Desperate Housewives would be the last. As the show was supposed to be extended into an eighth season, it was odd that the network decided to cut their long-standing, high-rating show short, but it seems like the decision was more showrunner Marc Cherry's than theirs.
