If you asked us who the last person we'd ever guess would be singing the praises of taking steroids, it would probably be Tom Hanks! We wish he was our cool uncle — why would we EVER assume he takes steroids??

Well he does, but not to bulk up!

On Letterman's show last night (above), Tom opened up his love for steroids… and how they cure the common cold!

Of course, he delivers the story about how he finds this to be a true fact in usual Tom Hanks fashion. He's just so damn charming!

The Tony Award nominee list is out! And it looks like this just might be Cyndi Lauper’s year! Her musical collaboration with Harvey Fierstein, resulting in the new Broadway hit Kinky Boots, is garnering quite the attention with 13 Tony nominations!

What’s more? Tweens are dominating the musical theater awards with 12 nods for Matilda, 10 for Pippin and 9 for Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella!

But we’re have to admit we’re a little stumped by the play nominees! While Tom Hanks has got himself a Best Actor in a Play nomination, that list is looking a little empty. Where’s Al Pacino?! As for the ladies, no Bette Midler?!

Colin Hanks and his wifey, Samantha Bryant announced that they have baby No. 2 on the way Monday at the opening night of the actor's pops Tom Hanks' new Broadway play, Lucky Guy, and we're soooo excited!!

The lovebirds are already parents to 2-year-old Olivia Jane, and while Tom and his wife, Rita Wilson have only been grandparents to one baybay, they're overjoyed because the Hanks family is growing.

We can't wait to see Colin and Samantha's new bundle of joy, and from the looks of Miz Byrant's tummy, we think she only has a few months left ’til she pops.

Congrats to the Hanks fam!!

Five cheers for Justin Timberlake's freshly-minted FIVE STINTS as a host on Saturday Night Live!

The musician turned actor, who has always managed to tickle our funny bones on the long-running sketch comedy series, hit the milestone during his latest appearance last night, and in honor of the occasion, dedicated his entire opening monologue to reaping all the benefits of belonging to such an exclusive group of individuals…ALONGSIDE fellow inductees Paul Simon, Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, Tom Hanks, Alec Baldwin, and Candace Bergen!

OH! And Martin Short was there, too!

But mostly, we assume, so The Three Amigos would be all together in one room!

The rumors of Toy Story 4 are flying higher than Buzz Lightyear, but Disney still won't say if they'll be going to infinity and beyond with another installment.

The latest in Toy Story news came on Monday when Colombian radio executive Jorge Balaguera tweeted:

First, the supposedly-epic Cloud Atlas gets absolutely no award season love and, now, your brand new Broadway play might be D.O.A!

Tom Hanks' Lucky Guy doesn't open for another few months, but early sales figures are verging on the mediocre!

One would think a stageplay written by the late Nora Ephron and featuring one of Hollywood's most legendary actors would be a surefire success!

Unfortunately, while screen stars like Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman once smashed Broadway's box-offices, the novelty is evidently wearing off.

Need proof? Just look to the abysmally received Katie Holmes' dramz, Dead Accounts!

Even worse, some suggest the man who played Forrest Gump is yesterday's news! Noooo! Blasphemy!

Lucky Guy doesn't debut until March, so there's plenty of time to turn around those pre-sale numbers!

We can only assume he's playing a dashing young John F. Kennedy… or at least one of his equally handsome brothers!

Our imaginary boyfriend Zac Efron has signed on to a brand new JFK movie called Parkland, which focuses on the events that occured at the Parkland hospital in Dallas the day JFK got shot.

The flick also stars Marcia Gay Harden, Paul Giamatti, Billy Bob Thornton and Jacki Weaver!

Parkland will be written and directed by journalist/novelist Peter Landesman and is being produced by Tom Hanks' company, Playtone.

It's so exciting to witness Zac's transition from tween musical heartthrob to legit, oscar-track film actor, and we must say…

You still look MIGHTY sexy when you're being oh so serious, Zac!
