Tom Hanks and Good Morning America's Elizabeth Vargas were apologizing like crazy LIVE on ABC this morning for an accidental F-bomb he dropped in the middle of an interview.
It wasn't really the nicest guy in Hollywood's fault though.
After giving Vargas fair warning that talking in a particular accent would result mostly in "swear words", she continued to egg him on and as a result, she got him to utter the biggest, baddest swear word there is (above).
Of course, he immediately covered his mouth after the slip and played it off like a boss before making the entire studio crew laugh out loud seconds later.
But to any children watching, Tom Hanks wants you to know he's sorry!

Tom Hanks may have starred in Big, but can he fill the massive, gynourmous shoes mouse ears of the venerable craftsman of childhood fantasies, Walt Disney?! Well, he better!
The Cloud Atlas actor will portray Mr. Disney in the currently under-production Mary Poppins-centric film, Saving Private Ryan Mr. Banks, which chronicles the 14 year struggle between Mr. Disney and Mary Poppins author P.L. Travers over making her classic tale into a movie.
So, how did Tom prepare for such an iconic role?! Well obviously research, but dude also took two trips to the Disney Family Museum in San Francisco!
Mr. Hanks reveals:

We heard it was a possibility, but now it has been confirmed. Tom Hanks is coming to Broadway!
The Oscar-winning actor will make his debut in Nora Ephron's Lucky Guy, which follows the controversial career of a Mike McAlary, a New York columnist who won a Pulitzer Prize just before his death in 1998.
Previews for the show at the Broadhurst Theatre will begin on March 1 and opening night is scheduled for April 1.
We're very excited to see! Not only is it Tom Hanks, but it's the Sleepless In Seattle and You've Got Mail writer's last work finished before her death this past June.
While it's sad she won't be able to see one of her favorite actors bring her words to life, we're just happy that others can.

Tom Hanks isn't the only celeb with a hardcore offspring!
Judd Apatow's daughter Maude is ditching her blossoming acting career (she was in Knocked Up and the This Is 40 trailer) to start a gangsta rap group with the HIGHlariooos Rebel Wilson.
Um… BEST IDEA EVER!
Seriously, who has a clearer perceptive on street life than an Aussie comedian and a rich 14-year-old?
Ch-ch-check out the video (above) to see the Mz Maude and Pitch Perfect star freestyle like a couple of "baaad bitches!"
Everything is connected in Cloud Atlas and we can't WAIT to find out how.
Tom Hanks and Halle Berry headline this upcoming blockbuster that looks both fun and mind-bending because it maneuvers between SIX different plots taking place in the past, present and future!
In a sneak peek from the Wachowski's latest science fiction film (above), we see just how effortlessly the directors accomplish their unique approach to storytelling.
We also see what happens to one of the many characters Hanks plays and have a feeling that no matter how many clips or trailers we see…we can't possibly predict ANYTHING about this movie.

Well this is just delightful!!
Disney announced its production beginnings for a new Mary Poppins film on Wednesday!
But this one's not your ordinary movie! Nope!
If you'll recall, Saving Mr. Banks is the story of Walt Disney's TWENTY-YEAR battle to get the film rights to P.L. Travers' super famous novel.
And we're super excited about Emma Thompson and Tom Hanks starring in it.
Absolutely perfect!! Disney really knows how to pick 'em, huh?

Sometimes we wish Tom Hanks was our best friend — or at least our dad.
Okay, just kidding. We wish that all the time! HA!
Tom is about to host the Circle of Hope gala, which will be dedicated to helping brain disease research!
The whole idea is to start raising money for one hell of a goal:
