While on Monday, it will mark one year since Whitney Houston’s untimely passing, it seems she will forever be remembered through her music… and in wax?!
This Thursday in New York, Madame Tussauds will reveal four wax figures of Whitney, capturing some of her most legendary moments!
Of the four figures (above), Whitney’s epic 1991 national anthem at the Super Bowl one will be displayed in Washington, D.C., her I Wanna Dance With Somebody figure will be sent to Vegas, a radiant, more recent Whitney from her I Look To You photoshoot will be in NYC and El Lay will receive her Bodyguard figure.
Whitney’s manager and sister-in-law Pat Houston stated:

While Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown is still trying to deal with the death of her mama, she doesn't want anything to do with her grandmother, Cissy Houston's tell-all, Remembering Whitney because she feels that it's straight out disrespectful!!!
On Sunday, Bobbi tweeted:
Last year, the Grammys were rocked by the passing of Whitney Houston less than 24 hours before the event.
Now, with the Grammys coming up this Sunday, it’d be impossible to not revisit that moment.
CBS will be airing an hour-long special, The Grammys Will Go On: A Death in the Family, on Saturday night with Taylor Swift, LL Cool J, Bruce Springsteen, Jennifer Hudson and many others talking about suddenly losing the legend.
The special will also include a first look at show producers trying to rework the event in order to pay tribute to the one and only Whitney.
We know where we’ll be Saturday night.

Last night, two weeks from the one year anniversary of the late icon’s death, Oprah’s Next Chapter aired Oprah’s interview with Cissy, who definitely didn’t hold back.
Cissy opened up to O on everything from Whitney’s rumored lesbian relationship with her best friend, Robyn, to her tumultuous romance with Bobby Brown and drug use.

Big brother to Whitney Houston, Michael was usually referred to as the late great's twin for how much time they spent together.
Always getting into the same things, they also inevitably did drugs together after Michael brought them into her life.
