Why is she always playing someone's ex?
The adrobz Kristen Bell has just signed on to play Adam Brody old GF, in a big screen version of the stage play, Some Girls.
We feel like the pair is good fit, possibly because they both played complicated Cali high school students on TV a few years back.
The flick is about Brody's character trying to patch things up with several ex-girlfriends

It's becoming pret-ty clear that there's something going on between these two!
Back in December, we had heard that Ashton Kutcher and Adam Brody's ex-GF Lorene Scafaria spent the holidays in Italy together. We had ALSO heard that the two hooked up before the Ashton/Demi split!
Soon after that, Ashton and Lorene's reps said that the two are "just friends" and that they are "working on a potential project together." Ha!
Sure enough, we've just learned that Ashton brought his "friend" Lorene to Madonna's Oscar party, and it sounds like they were acting like more than just work buddies at the event!
We'll keep an eye out for more updates about Ashton and Adam's ex! Eventually, these two will have to admit that this is MORE than just a friend thing!

Although the film Lovelace focuses on Deep Throat star Linda Lovelace, with Amanda Seyfried in the title role, Adam Brody will be playing her, ahem, co-star Harry Reems, and for the first time thus far, he's been spotted on set!

We wonder if his character will get the Mark Wahlberg-in-Boogie Nights treatment, if you know what we mean!

After a few quiet years after The O.C. explosion, Adam Brody is ready for work in 2012!
The actor has been cast in a slew of films, including Some Girls, Welcome to the Jungle, a Linda Lovelace biopic, Deepthroat Lovelace and Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World, co-starring alongside the likes of Steve Carell, Keira Knightley, Amanda Seyfried, James Franco and JCVD.
Towards the end of 2011, Adam also voiced the character Woodie, in MTV's cartoon, Good Vibes.
Let's just hope these new flicks are better than Jennifer's Body.
Looks like it's going to be hard to keep Adam off-set this year!
