Bittersweet news for Adele fans:
The powerhouse's new album — rumored to be called 25 — IS coming, but it won't be heard until next year.
Adele's record label, XL Recordings, confirmed that there are absolutely ZERO plans for the songstress to release a new compilation before the end of 2014.
XL wrote in a statement:
We don't often see Adele out in the wild.
Between her man Simon Konecki and her adorable little man Angelo, the Skyfall singer probably doesn't have much time to go out on the town.
But Adele loves her music, and she made an exception on Wednesday night as she went out to see FKA Twigs perform in London.
Hmm, FKA may not have hit superstardom yet, but those are two very fashionable figures to have in your corner!
It's All About That Bass these days…
If you ask Meghan Trainor, we probably bet she'd thank her curvaceous bod and hit booty single for the rocket ship to fame she's been riding all summer!
In a new interview, Meghan revealed that many artists got to preview the jam, but she was ultimately the right fit for the flavor:
She's still down with Adele!!
After releasing the audio track of her Rolling in the Deep/Ain't No Mountain High cover this week, Miz Aretha Franklin has been making her late night TV rounds.
She stopped by David Letterman on Monday to perform the jam — but instead of listening to the song, we were totally distracted by one of her stage-mates…
Specifically, the familiar looking woman to the left!
Since we've got extensive diva knowledge, we had a feeling there was a famous face among the soul queen that evening — and it's none other than Whitney Houston's 81-year-old momma Cissy, singing backup!
First off, we're just so happy to see the gospel songstress is out, about and working these days. She looks just wonderful! But still, we couldn't help but notice her disinterest in the performance, which is odd especially since she's been singing backup for Aretha since the mid-1960s.
Maybe she's just not a fan of Adele! But — who doesn't love Adele?!
Ch-ch-check out the song (above) and try and guess Miz Houston's emotions throughout! It's pretty great!

Aretha Franklin is arguably one of the greatest female vocalists of all time…
So when we heard a living friggin' legend would be covering our queen Adele, we couldn't be more thrilled!
Lady Soul decided to take on the pop star's hit Rolling In The Deep — but make it her own, by adding additional riffs and some Ain't No Mountain High Enough lyrics in the end!

The frontrunner might actually be Mariah because she is supposedly about to sign a $750,000 deal to play two nights at the legendary stadium.
Seems like a test run to us!
What a tough decision to make with so many different musicians that are all equally talented!!!
