Home is where the heart was…
Believe it or not, it's been nearly four years since Extreme Makeover: Home Edition's last renovation — but that doesn't mean the reality show has completely moved on to the pop culture graveyard.
In fact, the Ty Pennington-hosted home improvement program has been making headlines all week… for just about the most destructive reason ever!
That's because we're hearing the Friday Family from the penultimate episode of the ABC series actually kicked out five of their seven adopted children AFTER the makeover was complete!
According to local reports out of North Carolina, Devonda and James Friday of Charlotte had just adopted five young brothers and sisters at the time of taping to keep the siblings from being separated into the foster system back in 2012.
However, we're now hearing that all of the children — including eldest kids Chris and Kamaya, whom have since dropped the Friday surname — were sent to different group homes within a year of their episode's airing!
Luckily, the brother/sister pair has now come forward to share their heartbreaking story, with Chris telling WSOC-TV:
We had a feeling Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar weren't done expanding their brood!
According to In Touch Weekly, the parents are planning to adopt the 8-year-old son of Michelle's struggling niece.
Per the report, the boy's mother, Rachel Hutchins, hasn't been able to care of her child ever since she gave birth as an unmarried teenager. Rachel also has a long history of problems including breaking and entering charges.
As of now, the religious duo has legal guardianship of the kiddo which they hope to make permanent in court on November 14.
A source said of the situation:
"There's a strong hope that once that happens they will be able to adopt him."
Well, considering a few of the pair's children have left the nest, we guess there's some free space in the Arkansas compound. Not to mention the family, especially Jessa Duggar, has expressed interest in adoption before.
We'll keep you posted!

Farrah Abraham is expecting big things of her daughter Sophia!
In fact, the Teen Mom OG star is so convinced of her daughter's impending success she's worried about the hate the seven-year-old may eventually get in school. Oh no!
For a candid sit down with People, the brunette beauty explained:
"Right now, with how she's going and how successful she is and how much the parents love her and how the kids wish they had her life, I am truthfully like, 'Oh my God, she is going to experience more jealousy than I ever encountered when she's in high school'."
Eek. It actually sounds pretty stressful to be little Sophia. Nonetheless, the MTV celeb plans to squash the problem by potentially homeschooling her flesh-and-blood in the future. She continued:
Charlize Theron is getting real about her split from Sean Penn.
In case you didn't know, the Huntsman: Winter's War star and the 55-year-old actor called it quits last summer after dating since 2013. At the time, rumors that the 40-year-old beauty "ghosted" Penn — i.e. suddenly cut off all communication — before the breakup went rampant.
Now, Miz Theron is clearing the air in the latest issue of WSJ about what really happened between the two successful actors.
