Pot Legalized In 2010?! (In California, At Least)

marijuana_leaf_pic__opt.jpg

Listen up, stoners!

There may be some HIGH times in the near future - and there's nothing the cops can do about it!

Marijuana advocates are expected to get as many as three pot-legalization measures voted upon in California in 2010.

And the feds are not happy!

Several polls show support for lifting the ban on marijuana, but many wonder the consequences of a measure that conflicts with federal drug laws.

California already has a thriving pot trade thanks to a 1997 measure allocating medical use of the substance, yet full legalization would mean that joints could be sold on various liquor store counters and medical dispensaries could become full service pot stores.

Excited?!

The most likely ballot measure to pass is also the most conservative. It would legalize one ounce of marijuana for personal use by those 21 or older. In California, if you are busted with that amount in present day, it would result in a $100 fine at most.

Although, the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that federal law enforcement officials have the right to prosecute users that comply with California's medical marijuana law.

"Even though that federal ban is still in place and the federal government can enforce it, it doesn't mean the states have to follow suit," said Robert Mikos, a Vanderbilt University law professor who is well versed in the issue.

And since local and state police will not be able to legally assist the feds, who's to say they'll have time to seek out small-time users.

"It's only something the feds are going to be concerned about if you're growing tons of pot," said Rosalie Pacula, director of drug policy research at the Rand Corp. For anything less, "they don't have the resources to waste on it."

Adrianne Curry may get her dazed dream come true!

Would U vote to legalize?!

Adrianne Curry Needs Therapy NOW!

Filed under: Drugs > Adrianne Curry

adrianne-pc-cover__opt1.jpg

This is rather unsettling.

Reality TV regular Adrianne Curry took to her Myspace blog to continue her crusade to make everyone a happier person through the legalization of marijuana. She truly does love the stuff!

In her rant, she attempts to reason that had illegal drugs been made legal, she may never had been raped. Do you see the logic in that?

Neither do we and we understand it less after she explains herself.

She writes:

"Explain 2 Me why Drugs SHOULDNT be LEGAL?

Seriously, I want you people who think drugs should be illegal to prove to me WHY they should be. Tell me, think it out nice and hard and back your argument with some FACTS!

The drug war is an EPIC FAIL. As a former 14 year old-20 year old drug addict, I was able to score every drug under the sun. However, because it was illegal, I had to go to shady places in order to score it…leading to me being brutally raped. Would I have been brutally raped at a controlled pharmacy providing me with clean drugs? NO! Would I have almost died from what I was TOLD was acid, but ended up giving me seizures on a crack house floor? Nope, cause I would have been given something regulated and clean from the pharmacy.

Would gangbangers and drug cartels have anything to wheel and deal and kill over? NO!

Do YOU really have the right to force your will onto others? Why should you, or anyone else for that matter, dictate to another human being what they can or cannot do to their own bodies?

You REALLY think MORE people will do drugs if they are legal? Probably LESS, seeing how it has been PROVEN that people tend to want to do things MORE when they are told they cant!

Wouldn't it be nice to drive through the ghetto and not see ONE crack dealer, cause they would be put out of business??

Do you REALLY think that keeping drugs illegal is WORKING? is it STOPPING people from using? NO! It's a waste of our tax dollars, is what it is!

The Drug War is a waste of time and tax dollars. Addicts should be able to find SAFE drugs to use, drugs that are not cut with dangerous things by dealers looking to make an extra dime. It should be regulated and distributed to those who want it. Sam rules for alcohol should apply…no public intoxication, no operating cars or machinery while fucked up, etc.

In a world full of pill popping drunk hypocrites, your arguments against drugs is borderline LAUGHABLE.

Why didn't I mention pot? Cause to me, it is laughable to list it anywhere NEAR heroin or crack. it kills LESS people than ASPRIN…that would be 0 deaths in its history

You guys hath been PWNED"

There are so many things WRONG with that entry that for us to start deciphering it now would take all day. The only thing not LAUGHABLE about this whole thing is that, despite the fact that we think her brain is filled with pencil shavings and wind, it's terrible the violent ordeal she had to go through in her early, formidable years.

But lets be very clear Curry - making drugs, especially hard drugs like heroin or acid, available in a pharmacy will in no way help the situation. We don't know what hath being "PWNED" means (we're going to assume that in her druggie haze she meant to write OWNED), but if it means keeping deadly drugs as far out of reach for people as possible, we're okay with that.

Ah, look at Adrianne Curry being her usual stoner self!

Truly, she is in her element as she attended the 4th Annual LA County Medical Marijuana Expo & Patients Festival Saturday. Apparently, she was an honored guest as she is a blogger for Kush LA Magazine’s site, DailyBuds.com.

That's a website devoted to smoking pot. Again, in her element.

Smoke up!

While some celebs use their Twitter accounts to let their followers in on their personal life, others do this.

Looks like America's Next Top Model winner turned reality whore star, Adrianne Curry, took time off from ranting on her blog to show us her store bought tittays via her Twitter account.

We guess some people will do anything to stay relevant.

More Currie Crap

Adrianne Curry is speaking out again!

The reality TV star and deep thinker is responding to the comments she made about Hurricane Ike in a blog post titled "Hurricane Victims pay for their own rescues?".

On Monday, Curry once more took to her blog, this time saying:

"People took LSD and read my Hurricane blog

It's the only way they could have seen words I didn't type! I have been accused of having no heart, and wanting people to die! I never once said that. My own flesh and blood, my brother, lives in Florida. He tries to ride out stroms too. Guess what? I think he is a dumbass for it, and should pay if he ever has to be rescued. This is my own BROTHER, why would I think BETTER of the folks I don't even know!

Picture this, firefighters swarm my home and inform me if I do not leave I will die..In 3 days, I will be swallowed by an inferno of death and flames. Can you imagine me saying "You know what guys? I think I'm gonna hunker down here, I'm a California girl now…I can make it through this!"??? Would you feel super terrible for me when I dial 911 minutes later screaming to be saved? Sure you would, that makes you human…but shouldn't I have to pay for my rescue when I was warned? Not many people try to live through the burning of their homes here, sounds stupid right? What is the difference in a hurricane? Do you know how many times my friends have left their homes, only to find out the fire died out or changed direction? That doesn't mean they wont leave the next time! Wouldn't you think we were a bunch of MORONS if you saw us hunkered down in our homes, doing shots, and refusing to leave out of pride?

I would NEVER want a person to die…EVER. I NEVER said it, and I am sorry for those who dropped acid and mushrooms before they read what I had to say and make believed they saw it. I even had a girl wish DEATH on me! Some people make me ashamed to be human! Today on the news, I saw islanders BEGGING for help. My heart gopes out to them…However, when the news reporter asked them why in God's name they would stay on a SAND BAR island when told they would most certainly die, did they stay…..they said "because this is my home, I am an islander"! Are you fucking serious? These people put themselves, their children, and families in harms way! Now they are begging to be shipped out, why didn't they leave in the first place???????????????? There is NO logic and NO reason behind these arguements. It is waisting the time of rescue workers, amnd the time of those who have to clean it up. Like we wont have to spend a lot of money cleaning up…like their expensive rescues dont add up!! These people are starving and have no water simply because they thought they would STAY on an island issued CERTAIN DEATH warnings…the FIRST the National Weather Service has EVER issued. When you play with Mother Nature, you will get burned."

And she's not even close to being done talking!

Adrianne Curry's "Controversial" Comments About Hurricane Ike

adrianne-pc-cover__opt1.jpg

Here's something to chew on!

Adrianne Curry just posted the following on her official blog:

"September 14, 2008 - Sunday

Hurricane Victims pay for their own rescues?
Current mood: aggravated

I am sorry, but I believe all these people should have to pay the bill for their individual rescues! When they issue a "certain death" warning and you are fucking dumb enough to stay, you do not deserve free aid. I watched people being interviewed on the news claiming they bought a bunch of beer and BBQ to sit through the storm. I bet these same people are crying for help as I type. This is fucking stupid! Why should we have to foot a dime for these dumbasses that ignored these warnings?

FREE transportaion was provided, many buses left half empty. FREE shelters were provided, many not filled up. People value MONEY and POSESSIONS more than their own lives? IDIOTS!

I feel like we reward stupidity in this country, and this is the perfect example of it. What do you guys think?

edited note:: I never said they should DIE, I said if they value their MONEY and POSSESSIONS more thn their own LIVES they should have to pay for endangering the lives of rescue workers, and sucking up more money this government DOESN'T have. someone claimed they didnt want to lose their job…I wasn't aware the bank was open that day!"
