Alanis Morissette is going to be on Up All Night on NBC. The episode is called Travel Day, and she's going to be playing a bandmate from Maya Rudolph's past!

The band? Hip-hop. The name of the band? 'Sound LLC'. LOLz!

And none of this is coming out of nowhere — the show has mentioned Alanis's character in previous episodes!

Kelly Clarkson has room on her plate for another singing competition.

And it's not American Idol.

Kelly has been tapped to be a guest mentor on The Voice, appearing alongside Blake Shelton as his guest.

She joins Miranda Lambert as Blake's guests. But don't worry; Adam, Xtina, and Cee-Lo have guest of their own!

The other mentors have more diverse guests in their corners.

Who could blame the guy? Alanis is kind of a big deal!

Last night, Josh Krajcik performed a duet of Uninvited with rock icon Alanis Morissette…and he was pret-ty nervous about it.

Here's what Josh had to say about it:

"I love the song Uninvited. It's dark. It's haunting. It's beautiful. It's desperate. It's a pain-filled love song. I love songs like that. And man, she can sing. I don't even know what to say."

And here's what Josh had to say about Simon calling him out for being nervous:

"When he said, 'You were a little intimidated,' well, duh! He was right. I was."

And more from Josh on the awkward ending to their duet performance:

"I got weird. It wasn't her fault. I was confused. I thought we were leaving. I weirded it out. She's probably like, what was that? I didn't know what to do because it was such a big moment for me. I was nervous. I never get nervous, but I was because she's so prolifically amazing!"

Don't beat URself up over it, Josh! It was still a solid performance!

THROWBACK!

Last night's X Factor Finale was pretty cutthroat, with the final three contestants bringing their A-game in hopes of winning enough votes to win the coveted $5 million recording contract and the title of the first winner of The X Factor USA.

The night kicked off with three incredible performances by Melanie, Chris and Josh with some very famous faces. The standout for us was of course our girl Melanie Amaro, who brought a new touch of class and powerhouse sound to R.Kelly's classic, I Believe I Can Fly. It didn't hurt that he was there with her, crooning away so effortlessly, making the performance as seamless as it could be.

However, the night started off with the boys, with Chris Rene taking on Avril Lavigne's start out hit Complicated alongside the punk rock princess and Josh Krajcik meeting rock icon Alanis Morrissette to duet on her hauntingly beautiful song Uninvited!

NBC has announced that Up All Night will be doing a very special episode come the new year in which Maya Rudolph's character Ava returns to her rocking 90's roots. Alanis will guest star on the episode "as a hip-hop legend from Ava’s ’90s band, Sound LLC."

You know what that means! Break out the UFO pants!

Isn't it ironic how this 90s musical superstar is cameoing on the show has a fictional 90s musical superstar? Huh! It's like rain on your wedding day, for sure!

She's back!

Alanis Morissette has not released a new album since 2008's Flavors Of Entanglement, but the singer recently revealed that she has recorded 31 new songs for her next effort, and she hopes to have the tracklist whittled down to 12 by the time it's ready to drop next summer!

Alanis Morissette just gave birth a little under a year ago, but she looks fantastic!

The Canadian singer bared some seksi leg on the 2011 American Music Awards Red Carpet live at the Nokia theater in El Lay.

Wearing a long black flowing dress, Alanis kept things modest, minus showing off those gorgeous stems of hers.
