And the world is right again…

Distancing himself from social media after that whole "playing Words With Friends on an airplane" incident, Alec Baldwin has finally returned to Twitter.

Oh thank goodness.

His last tweet was sent out on Dec. 6 just before he promptly deactivated his account.

But a month has gone by (the longest month of our lives, it seems) and Alec is thankfully back where he belongs. The actor tweeted today:

Yes, you are, Alec. Yes, you are.

Wegmans Reinstates Alec Baldwin's Holiday Commercial

Earlier this morning, we reported an interesting story concerning a Rochester, NY based grocery store's decision to pull a commercial they had running for the holiday season featuring Alec Baldwin. At the time, the store was receiving "dozens of complaints" from customers in the aftermath of Alec's confrontation on an American Airlines flight.

However, dozens of complaints don't care to the outrage found on Twitter, Facebook and across the Internet after they indeed pulled the ad, so Wegmans has released the following statement to confirm that they are reinstating the ads.

According to their rep:

Oye!

During December, if you live in the Rochester, NY, you might've seen a little ad run for your local Wegman grocery store that featured the one and only Alec Baldwin. It didn't run for very long as the ad was subsequently pulled after Alec ran into a little trouble.

Yeah, you know what we're talking about. That little "situation" on American Airlines. Apparently, the Rochester-based grocery chain received "dozens of complaints" from their customers after the ad started airing shortly after Alec was "rude" to the staff of his AA flight.

Wegmans spokesperson Jo Natale adds:
