Oh WOW, Donald Trump is not going to like this!!!
A newspaper called El Nacional in the Dominican Republic just apologized on Saturday afternoon after mistakenly using a photo of Alec Baldwin dressed as The Donald on Saturday Night Live in a story about the real Donald Trump! Oops!!
The paper placed the photo right next to one of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and published the day's edition before ever realizing their BIG mistake — and while the news organization was quick and forceful in their sincere apology, it still made everyone laugh!
Here's the pic, via Twitter, of the newspaper's erroneous page (below):
When Alec Baldwin stopped by Thursday night's show, however, the definitions merged as the two comedians played the popular game of deception!
Right in the middle of the game, Fallon unleashed his Trump impression after revealing his "disgusting" hidden item was a glove filled with olives.
But during the next round, Baldwin went in full Saturday Night Live mode with his POTUS impression while describing his next item, causing the two to riff back and forth as dueling POTI!
Whose impression is better? Watch the clip (below) to find out!
While the 30 Rock star isn't donning his wig in the short teaser promoting Saturday's show, we expect he'll still reprise the role of Drumpf!
Watch the full promo clip (below) and see Baldwin reminisce about his past SNL performances:
Even though the POTUS loves to complain about Alec Baldwin's spot-on impression of him, the sketch-comedy series is clearly doing something right as it's having its most-viewed season in 22 years! Well deserved!
At least something is benefiting from our country falling to pieces! LOLz!
*Laughing to hide the tears*
Variety reports viewership for the NBC favorite is "up 19% in adults 18-49 (3.5 vs. 2.9 rating) and up 22% in total viewers (10.6 million vs. 8.7 million) over the comparable period in the 2015-16 season."
Furthermore, the most recent episode featuring Melissa McCarthy's HIGHlarious impression of Sean Spicer scored the second highest-rated program of the week in the key demo, following just behind The Big Bang Theory — and that's BEFORE delayed viewing was factored in.
Sorry not sorry, Donny!
This would be the best casting of all time!!
And after Trump was reportedly "rattled" over McCarthy's portrayal of the White House gum aficionado, an all-too-perfect casting opportunity presented itself for the next high-profile role: Rosie O'Donnell as Steve Bannon!!
In a string of tweets on Monday night, the comedienne nominated herself to play Trump's key advisor — and we honestly couldn't think of anyone better!
The suggestion came up after Politico reported Trump was irked over Spicer looking "weak" in the sketch and that he was played by a woman, prompting many Twitter users to suggest an SNL appearance from the OG Trump nemesis.
And the former talk show host was more than game for the role, responding on Twitter:
On Saturday, Melissa McCarthy stopped by to play the White House Press Secretary in a hilarious sketch, in which the Emmy-winner skewered Spicer's ball-of-stress demeanor at press conferences.
The sketch was a highlight of the episode (hosted by Kristen Stewart), with an angry-eyed McCarthy using her over the top comedic stylings to play the perfect Spicer.
But the next day, the real Spicer commented on the Ghostbusters star's impression of him — and surprise, surprise — he has a few critiques.
Drumpf's verbal garbage disposal explained he heard about the sketch while leaving church Sunday morning, saying his phone was blowing up so much he thought there was a national emergency.
Spicer told Extra he thought McCarthy's impression of him was a little too… well, extra — and advised that the comedienne "could dial back" a bit.
Though he admitted it was a "funny" show, he wasn't a fan of McCarthy taking shots at his penchant for swallowing gum, saying she
