And it looks like the Rod is back up to bat!

Alex Rodriguez reportedly spent the weekend of January 16th with none other than Madonna at his home in Westchester County, NY!!

A-Rod, 34, was recently kicked to the curb by Kate Hudson in December, but Madge, 51, is still adopting her latest child seeing Baby Jesus Luz, 23.

Reps for Madge are saying the report is bull, but a source claims the pair "have kept in touch all along."

Maybe this old rumor is true then!!!!

The source goes on to say:

"She's never been a one-man woman. When she's with a guy like Jesus, whom she takes care of, she doesn't really respect him."

Understandable! It sure must be nice to have a hot young piece around as a friend for Rocco play-thing, but we think our beloved Madge can do a little better than A-Rod as her number one squeeze!!!

While Kate Hudson is keeping close mouthed about her new beau, A-Rod is parading his new gal pal around for all the photogs to see. The mysterious blonde woman in question was seen spending some quality time with the Yankee in Miami yesterday on a private yacht!

What's her name? Where's she from? Is she a VIP cocktail waitress?

Alex Rodriguez is said to have already hooked up with a pretty blonde thing he met at the gym in Miami just before Christmas!

A source close to Kate Hudson says that the actress is "devastated" since she "had harbored hopes he would beg her to take him back."

A-Rod really doesn't seem the begging kind to us and we envision it the other way around to be honest.

He has a thing for the blondes, but once he has one it seems he's always looking for another replacement.

Kate, you're better off without him! Plus there's plenty of other eligible Hollywood bachelors you haven't been through yet!

Sources are now suggesting that the end of Alex Rodriguez and Kate Hudson's eight month relationship was A-Rod's obsession with an old flame: Madonna!

An close source to Kate reveals:

“Kate was mad with jealousy. She gave A-Rod three chances to stop contacting Madonna. When she found out that he was still calling and texting her, she hit the roof. How would you feel if your new boyfriend kept calling his ex?”

Not good at all!

Both ex-lovers of Yankee player Alex "A-Rod" Rodriguez, Madonna took it upon herself to comfort a despondent looking Kate Hudson about her recent break-up at the New York premiere of Hudson's new film Nine.

During the after-party at M2 in Chelsea, the gals were spotted having a quiet heart-to-heart. A source says, "When the cameras were on Kate she was all smiles. But privately you could tell she has had her heart broken."

Kate also flew in her mother Goldie Hawn for the premiere to engage in a bit of booze therapy sipping on dirty martinis together and hanging out all night.

Another source said of Kate, "It was her big premiere, and she was upset Alex wasn't there to support her."

A source is claiming that the recent news of the Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez's breakup may not be all that recent.

Actually, the insider says that the couple has been split for WEEKS with no one any the wiser. The source says:

"They're over. They've been broken up for a couple of weeks. They just wanted things to die down around them. [Kate and Alex] both seem to totally fine. They decided to move on."

Luckily for them, their split is being considerably downplayed in comparison to another cat's scandals.

Supposedly Yankee Alex "A-Rod" Rodriguez was turned off by now ex-girlfriend Kate Hudson's need to be at the center of attention during his baseball games! A friend reveals:

"[Hudson] wanted more camera time each and every game. She would always want to be styled before games and she'd insist on front-row seats.

"It was a turnoff to have a girlfriend who always wanted to be on camera. Alex wanted someone who was more interested in building a long-term relationship than just building their profile."

A-Rod wanted to break up with Kate a MONTH ago, but held off while she promoted her upcoming film Nine. Kate also reportedly smothered A-Rod and wanted to know what he was doing every moment of the day.

The actress was giving A-Rod ultimatums to make the relationship move faster than he would have liked. The friend continues:

"He's just coming off of a 13-year relationship with his ex-wife and a recent divorce. He has two lovely children with his ex-wife, and that requires a certain amount of responsibility. She gave him ultimatums that a newly divorced father can't meet."

But despite everything the pair supposedly ended things pleasantly:

"They're two mature adults. She did take the relationship seriously, and he has a lot of respect for her. They had some really wonderful times together."

If Kate was as obsessed with A-Rod as the "friend" wanted us to think, we don't believe the break-up was amicable for one second!

But we wonder who's up next on the roster for both of these serial daters!

After reportedly breaking it off with now ex-girlfriend Kate Hudson, Alex Rodriguez wasted no time hitting the singles scene in Miami.

We're guessing he believes in the motto "the best way to get over a girl is under another" because it sounds like A-Rod was on the prowl for his next fuck buddy.

According to a spywitness, while he was "at the Armani Exchange dinner, A-Rod didn't eat a thing because he was focused on this cute blonde — who looked a bit like Kate. He literally didn't take his eyes off of her."

He even told one lucky whore lady that he's "definitely single." But it must not have worked because Rodriguez was seen leaving with old pal Ingrid Cesares.

Meanwhile Kate remained in New York and was mum on her marital status while at the Nine luncheon, where she mostly talked about the film.

Well if she can't talk about her latest peen conquest, then what the hell else is she going to talk about?

We give it a couple weeks before Kate rebounds with Owen Wilson.
