Kate Middleton's royal touch was desperately needed at the christening of the Royal Princess ship in Southampton on Thursday morning.
The Duchess of Cambridge smashed a $2K bottle of Nebuchadnezzar champagne against the side of the cruise liner before being taken on a tour of the massive ship by Captain Tony Draper.
She's totes following in Princess Diana's footsteps — the late royal christened the first Royal Princess back in 1984!
Kate was classy as always in a dalmatian-print Hobbs coat, black Lock & Co. hat, black Episode pumps, and a cream Alexander McQueen clutch.
Soak it all in because this is Kate's last public appearance before the birth of the world's most important baby royal bundle of joy!

Hear Ye! Hear Ye!
The prettiest pregnant princess of them all has chosen Jenny Packham to represent her style at the Queen Elizabeth II's 60th anniversary of her coronation.
Safe yet remarkable, Kate Middleton harbors a winning look as well as the royal heir this lovely Tuesday afternoon.
She graced Westminster Abbey with her usual classic presence for her grandmother-in-law's special service wearing a peach Packham jacket, high-waisted daisy lace gown and matching Jane Taylor fascinator.
The Duchess of Cambridge completed the look with her softly toned LK Bennett pumps and Alexander McQueen clutch.
Gold stars earned all around!
She may never wow us with a bold move, but she'll always wear the crown when it comes to keeping it classy!

Marion Cotillard had something in her eye at The Immigrant photocall at Cannes on Friday.
But that unfortunate incident did not detract from the utter sumptuousness of her Alexander McQueen frock.
This dress is EXQUISITE!
Obvi, the actress will remain loyal to Dior until her contract expires, but we LOVE seeing her in something new once in a while.
We're totes lusting after the delicate eyelet lace panels and 3D embroidery on her outfit! Have a looksie at the zoomed-in deets in the gallery (below)!
Even sparkling Swarovski-covered Louboutin pumps couldn't upstage this dress.
Total awe!

FAB!!!
Nicole Kidman's glam squad is working HARD to make sure the actress looks good at all of her Cannes Film Festival appearances and it shows!
Before flaring up the Opening Ceremony with her florals, the 45-year-old attended the jury photocall on Wednesday in a stunning Alexander McQueen dress.
The sculpted, dipped neckline emphasized Nicole's beautiful decollete and the puffy bell cuffs gave a sense of drama.
Finally, her wine-colored suede Jimmy Choo pumps featured a patent croc toe cap and couldn't have been more perfect.
Do they award Palme d'Ors for fashion? They SHOULD!

Hallelujah!
Carey Mulligan's spread in Flaunt magazine's "Fabrication" issue is like a religious experience!
In a very Frida Kahlo-esque photo shoot, Carey dons a blunt bob and is photographed wearing a long Valentino laser cut dress amongst a sea of candles in what looks like an old Spanish church.
The rest of the shoot is just as colorful and inspiring as she is seen posing in various parts of a Spanish mission in Alexander McQueen, Dolce & Gabbana, Chanel and Balenciaga.
All we have to say is muy linda y queremos más de Carey!
Such a departure from her Great Gatsby style, but we're not complaining!
Check out all of the fabulous shots (below)!

If a guy accompanies you on a shopping spree, he's a KEEPER!
Joshua Jackson happily tagged along on a day of fabulous shopping with longtime girlfriend Diane Kruger in West Hollywood on Wednesday.
The two looked very fashion forward together even if the t-shirt and jeans clad Joshua was upstaged by Diane in her green print Marni dress and light beige Salvatore Ferragamo tote.
But that's to be expected! The important thing is that he didn't scoff when she suggested they make pit stops at the Monique Lhuillier and Alexander McQueen boutiques.
What a PERFECT boyfriend!
Diane, you better hold on tight to this one!

Remember that old throw rug you used to own? We found it!
Naomi Watts usually looks beyond amaze on the red carpet, but she decided to give her excellent fashion sense a break at the Sunlight, Jr. screening during the Tribeca Film Festival in NYC on Saturday.
Although her stained-glass print Alexander McQueen flattered her svelte figure, the styling was ALL WRONG.
Clunky slingback heels and a messy, awkward hairdo sucked all the charm out of the frock, which could have been a bold, inneresting look if paired with daintier heels.
A swing and a miss!
