Amanda Seyfried had her pick of Givenchy dresses to wear to Shiseido's Cle de Peau Beaute Gala Dinner in Hong Kong on Thursday and she chose, well, this one.
We heart the bold color and shiny satin, but we could do without the giant cravat around her neck.
And do we really have to reiterate that a neckline like that calls for an updo?

Amanda Seyfried loves spending time with her pooch Finn, but occasionally she needs some “me” time.
That explains why she dropped him off at The Dog House Daycare and Grooming in West Hollywood on Tuesday.
Or maybe he just needed a little sprucing up before his next big movie role. Ha!
Dressed in a white tee and black skinny jeans, the actress coerced Finn inside with a bag full of yummy doggy treats.

We've been wondering which lucky actress would nab this role ever since the project was announced back in January!
But pre-production on the upcoming Hillary Clinton biopic titled Rodham, which will focus on the the former Secretary of State during her younger years as a lawyer in Washington in the '70s, is in full swing, and there are reportedly quite a few Hollywood starlets gunning hard for the role!
In fact, according to director James Ponsoldt, he and his team are going to have the unpleasant task of picking between Scarlett Johansson, Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Chastain and Amanda Seyfried!

The Epic actress made an appearance on Ellen to talk about the finer things in life, like her boobs and her love obsession for her precious Australian shepherd!
Amanda says:
He's with me right now. He's actually backstage. I really can't go many places without him.
Well she definitely wasn't lying, as she says she even landed him his first acting gig so she would't have to be without Finn for her next project!
Amanda kept a pretty tight lid about his role in his upcoming big screen debut, but she did say he's VERY excited about it!
