We know something is coming at Sunday's VMAs...
...and now we have a better idea of exactly what that might be!
Looking fierce girl!
Tyra Banks rocked a short, highlighted hairdo at the 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards on Sunday.
The 41-year-old supermodel actually cut off her hair over a month ago in preparation for the 22nd Cycle of America's Next Top Model, but this was the first major public event where she showed of what she's trademarked the TyTyChop!
The edgy 'do totally reminds us of another supermodel — Linda Evangelista! And the rest of Ty's outfit — a black Bryan Hearns jumpsuit with geometric cutouts — gave us H-to-T futuristic fembot realness!
Tyra hosted the Emmys event, which honored the best in daytime drama, talk and children's programming. Ch-ch-check out more pics, above!

She can pull off any look!
Tyra Banks was ready to do a little bit of spring cleaning… for her hairstyle!
The America's Next Top Model host showed off her new look on Friday, smizing it up, and captioning it, "Snip #NotTooShort"
Not too short at all! In fact, this cut is perfect!
Then, Miz Banks shared more excitement on Instagram with some Totally Tyra captions, saying
It's no wonder that Tyra Banks coined the term "smize"!
The still fierce supermodel was showing everyone how it's done at the Australia's Next Top Model Welcomes Tyra Banks event in Sydney, Australia on Friday!
Besides the flawless poses she was werking, Tyra was also werking a sexy little black dress with a sheer bodice.
You can totally see her boobs struggling to stay contained! Though with that in mind, we wish she would have chosen a nude bra so the strap wouldn't be as noticeable!
Oh well. At least the rest of her monochromatic ensem and smokey makeup were flawless!

It's about time!
No more practicing your smize in front of the mirror because Tyra Banks just came up with an easier way: a makeup line!

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times for Tyra Banks yesterday.
She looked just plain weird at the America's Next Top Model Cycle 21 premiere party in El Lay, wearing a sculptural Alon Livne jumpsuit.
It was a terrible choice for an outfit for several reasons:
1) That shiny piece of plastic along the bodice looked like it was going to stab her in the face; 2) The mesh panel along her waist was extremely unflattering; 3) Her bra was visible through the mesh panel and it looked sloppy.
But earlier in the day, the iconic supermodel was interviewed by Mario Lopez on Extra and looked sexy, youthful, and trendy in a black cropped tee and gray ribbed pencil skirt!
She should've worn this to the party later, too!
Well, now we know it's possible to look really good and really bad all in one 24-hour period.
P.S. She's also wearing a bracelet and ring by Gaydamak.

In case you missed it, Cycle 21 of America's Next Top Model aired last night — and it was FULL of dramz from the very start!
But of course, how could it not be?? There were hunkalicious male models, fabulous female models, AND judge extraordinaire Miss J made his splendiferous return.
It was almost too much to handle!!
However, as a veteran ATNM judge, Miss J knows that drama is bound to happen on the show. And that's only accentuated when there are guy models competing with girl models!
J. Alexander EXCLUSIVELY dished about the situation to CocoPerez.com, saying:
