Celebs React To Donald Trump's Inauguration -- See Who's Optimistic & Who Thinks It's Depressing AF!
Donald Trump is officially the 45th President of the United States.
C'mon, Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences, you know you want to…
The action comedy was so revered, it was nominated for 2 Golden Globes — including Best Picture, Comedy or Musical (which it lost to La La Land) — and was recently nominated for awards from the Writers AND Producers Guilds!
And with the Oscar nominations coming out later this month, Reynolds shared a For Your Consideration video for Deadpool on Twitter — which, of course, continues in the spirit of mocking all of the film's acclaim!
Hilariously narrated by its leading hero, the clip tries to sway Oscar voters by noting the film's magical unicorns, assless chaps, broken fourth wall, chimichangas, and just about everything else the Academy loves.
Will Deadpool be a dark horse at the Oscars? Should La La Land and Moonlight be worried!? Watch the clip (below) to see if YOUR vote is swayed!
Reese Witherspoon is a doting mother, an accomplished businesswoman, and has been one of the biggest names in Hollywood for well over a decade — but even the Oscar winner has flaws! (Well, at least one…)
In a recent TV interview, the 40-year-old let it slip that she had to quit a movie because she was unable to master a convincing Scottish accent.
The confessional aired on ITV's daytime show Lorraine, where Witherspoon sat down with Matthew McConaughey to promote their animated film Sing!
When Ross King asked the two actors about the hardest accents they've had to perform, the Legally Blonde star made the slip-up, saying:
"Scottish is really… I don't want to talk about it. I tried to do a Scottish accent once. It was bad. I had to quit the movie."
"The movie" in reference was Pixar's 2012 film Brave — which Reese was supposed to lend her voice to play the lead character Merida, but had to back out due to
Ch-ch-check out Ben's interview (below) as he talks his little bro's Globes win, his adorable fam, and Taylor being AH-Mazing!
Sweet, sweet revenge!
While there were several notable moments during the presentation, the ONE thing Ben couldn't let go of was Casey Affleck's acceptance speech after winning Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama. That's because Casey forgot to thank his big bro!
Well after the Live By Night star vented and Jimmy pointed out that Ben thanked his little brother after winning his first Oscar, the older Affleck got even by sharing some embarrassing stories about his sibling! And being scared of butterflies is only the tip of the iceberg! LOLz!
But that wasn't the only exciting Globes moment the actor/director commented on as he also pointed out how asinine Donald Trump is for calling Meryl Streep "over-rated" following her speech blasting the President-elect. Couldn't agree more!
Ch-ch-check out Ben as he talks Casey not thanking him and gets even with his little bro (below)!
Every year, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announces the films up for an Oscars — followed by the inevitable griping from fans over which actors were snubbed out of a well-deserved nomination.
This year will be no exception, as the big screen has been graced with far too many phenomenal performances in recent months for everyone to get the nod.
From Emma Stone's spellbinding performance as an aspiring actress in the musical La La Land to Denzel Washington's gripping portrayal of a self-loathing father who squashes his son's dreams in Fences, there are many solid frontrunners in this year's race.
And though we have no control over who gets nominated, we thought we'd find out which actors the Academy of you Perezcious film critics think best deserves a shot at Oscar gold! (Natalie Portman thanks you in advance.)
Swipe your votes (below) to decide which Oscar contenders YOU think should land a nomination!
Every year, there are a TON of award shows that honor the best of the best in movies and film — and thankfully the Razzies also come around annually to give trophies to the worst of the WORST!
While we still won't know the finalists for the anti-Oscars, known as the Golden Raspberry Awards — Razzies for short — we now have the shameful shortlist of nominees!
Zac Efron made it onto the shortlist for his role in the critically maligned Dirty Grandpa, and Ben Affleck might be a finalist for his role in Batman v Superman! BTW, BvS was nominated in EVERY category except Worst Actress! OUCH!
Hillary Clinton even made the tentative list of nominees… well kind of. The "documentary" Hillary's America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party received several nominations, including one for Becky Turner, who plays her in the
propaganda piece movie. One critic described the movie as "piggybacking a baseless personal attack onto a pseudo history lesson"; we're sure the real Hillary would LOVE to see this flick named one of the worst.
Ch-ch-check out the shortlist of nominees (below) as we wait for the FINAL list that will drop January 23 — only a day before the Oscar nominations announcement!
The public will get a chance to say goodbye to Carrie Fisher and her equally famous mom, Debbie Reynolds.
As we previously reported, Carrie and Debbie's family plan to bury the two megastars next to each other at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles. According to reports, the private memorial service and joint burial have since been scheduled for this Thursday and Friday.
Despite the mother/daughter duo's fame, no celebrities will be giving a eulogy at the private service held at Fisher and Reynolds' Beverly Hills compound. In case you forgot, the pair were next-door neighbors.
Not to mention, Carrie's daughter Billie Lourd will speak ONLY if she feels up for it. This seems to be the case since Billie and the rest of her fam are planning an epic public memorial service — where Meryl Streep has been asked to
