The Grammys are getting historic, y'all!
It's been announced that the cast of the hit Broadway show Hamilton will be performing a number from the acclaimed musical at the 58th Grammy Awards!
Lin-Manuel Miranda and his cast announced that they would be performing via satellite from the Richard Rodgers Theatre in New York!
This performance will mark only the eighth time in history that musical theater has been featured on the award show — the most recent being the cast of American Idiot back in 2010.
Other musicals that took to the Grammy stage were Godspell in 1972, The Magic Show in 1975, Sophisticated Ladies in 1982, La Cage Aux Folles in 1984, Will Rogers Follies in 1992, Riverdance and Bring In Da Noise, Bring In Da Funk in 1997!
But the Hamilton segment will be historic for another reason — it's also only the fourth

In the memoir Loving Amy by Amy's mom Janis Winehouse, there's a lot of speculation about her health prior to becoming famous. While it's no secret Winehouse was a bit of a wild child and drug abuser while growing up in England, Janis theorizes there was more to her daughter's larger than life personality.
According to J.W., Amy could have suffered from Tourettes Syndrome. The mom explained:
"She could well have been almost Tourette's, where she would just shout things out. We just do not know."
Hmm, how interesting. It's unfortunate we'll never know the full truth about Winehouse's alleged condition.
Despite A.W.'s vocal and physical tics, Janis couldn't say better things about her daughter as a creative person.
The momma gushed:
Justin Bieber Opens Up About The Dark Side Of Fame & Says He Relates To Amy Winehouse — 'I'm Struggling Just To Get Through The Days'
Life isn't always so easy growing up in the spotlight.
We've watched Justin Bieber mature (?) through every up and down in the public eye since he was a preteen. While that's part of the deal when pursuing a career in entertainment — it can definitely take its toll.
In an interview with NME which will be released Friday, the 21-year-old singer opened up about the flip side of fame that he struggles with every day.
The Sorry singer shared:
"I just want people to know I'm human. I'm struggling just to get through the days. I think a lot of people are. You get lonely, you know, when you're on the road. People see the glam and the amazing stuff, but they don't know the other side. This life can rip you apart."
"I watched the Amy Winehouse documentary [Amy] on the plane and I had tears in my eyes because I could see what the media was doing to her, how they were treating her. People thought it was funny to poke her when she was at rock bottom, to keep pushing her down until she had no more of herself. And that's what they were trying to do to me."
The Canada native — whose new album Purpose comes out on Friday — admitted that despite he's constantly surrounded by attention, he often feels alone:
He sure is helping us stock up on new music before his hiatus.
Sammy stopped by BBC Radio 1 on Thursday to premiere Love is a Losing Game for Annie Mac… and it sounds like it was written specifically for his soulful voice.
Amy's lyrics paired with Sam's powerhouse vocals make for an absolutely beautiful track that will leave you in tears. Seriously.
