Just another reason why you don't mess with Carrie Underwood!!!

A couple of weeks ago we reported how Carrie was pissed about an ag gag bill getting passed by Tennessee lawmakers.

The ag gag bill would've made it basically impossible for animals rights activists to secretly document abuse.

Carrie was so mad back then she said she would show up at Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam's house if it was passed!

Well, Bill made sure that didn't happen.

His office has released this statement:

doggyyyy

89 dogs were rescued from an animal hoarder in the Mojave Desert.

And somehow, all 89 of the animals have miraculously survived!

What's even stranger is the person who originally called the would be rescuers, Karma Rescue, was the hoarder herself!

The woman realized there was no possible way for her to take care of so many dogs, and luckily she came to her senses before it was too late.

Not to say that the dogs were found completely unharmed!

Morrissey Calls For Investigation Into Mistreatment At Animal Testing Lab

| Filed under: AnglophiliaAnimal RightsAnimal Cruelty

Morrissey

Morrissey is a big fighter for animal rights.

So of course he slapped his name on a petition that was demanding an independent probe into a vivisection lab at Imperial College London.

If you're unfamiliar with the term, vivisection is a surgery performed on a living creature for experimental purposes.

That means these animals are ALIVE when scientists begin cutting into them!

Ginnifer Goodwin Speaks Out Against Ag Gag Bill

Ginnifer Goodwin

Ginnifer Goodwin has stepped up and is voicing her opposition to the ag gag bill in Tennessee.

She joins the likes of Carrie Underwood in her plea for Tenn. Governor Bill Haslam to veto the bill.

If you haven't heard somehow, in Tennessee there's a bill trying to make it so animal abuse whistleblowers have to turn their evidence over to police within 48 hours of learning of the abuse or risk facing charges themselves.

The whole point of this bill is to make it so farm industry abuse is harder to document because two days isn't enough time to document ongoing, systemic abuse.

CIA Tried To Make Cyborg Spy Cats!!

Spy Cat

This may sound like a joke, hoax or conspiracy theory… but it's not!

It's all real life!!

Back in the 60's, when spying was all about telephones in shoes and knockout gas in wristwatches, the CIA came up with a crazy program: Operation Acoustic Kitty.

Yes, that's the real name.

They implanted a microphone microchip in a cat's ear canal, an antenna was embedded down his tail and a transmitter was implanted at the base of his skull.
