Nope. Nope. Nope.

A body artist in Russia, who goes by just the name Aleksandr, is under fire for a video that surfaced online of him drugging and tattooing his hairless pet Sphynx cat. Poor thing!

According to The Sun, Aleksandr admitted to giving the kitty (named Demon) an anesthetic so that he could "stand the pain" of the ink needle — and that he knows he might've been in the wrong.

A Dog's Purpose Crashes Hard At The Box Office As M. Night Shyamalan's Split Keeps The Top Spot!

What could have been a cute movie tugging at your heart strings has turned into a controversial little flick that just isn't connecting with viewers at the box office.

A Dog's Purpose, mired in controversy over the film's mistreatment of dogs on set while shooting, came in far behind expectations this weekend at the box office, debuting to just $18.3 million from a little more than 3,000 theaters across North America.

In its place, Split — a sleeper hit directed by M. Night Shyamalan — came in first for the second straight weekend, taking in $26.3 million over the last three days and rising up to a two-week domestic total of about $78 million.

It's a good winner for Split, even if the other films opening this week were fairly light, but the real story here centers on A Dog's Purpose (pictured, above), and the Gavin Polone-produced flick that has been rocked after animal abuse allegations.

From a financial standpoint, A Dog's Purpose cost just $22 million to make, so it's still on track to get its money back and the financials are good — but the social damage done to what should have been a very popular, family-friendly feature film, cannot be understated.

We were shocked by the behind-the-scenes video of a scared dog being forced into churning water on the set of the upcoming film A Dog's Purpose.

And according to Ellen DeGeneres, so was she. But she's surprisingly still on the movie's side!

On Monday's show, the beloved host had star Dennis Quaid on to talk about the movie, which she said she absolutely loved. But she also took a moment to address the (probably abused) elephant in the room, asking the Parent Trap star to comment on the controversy.

Dennis talked about his own experience on set, which sounded a far cry different from the second unit video, saying:

This is NOT okay.

With just about a week until A Dog's Purpose's theatrical release, new footage has surfaced that is sure to keep animal lovers from seeing the film.

TMZ obtained footage from the flick's production in November 2015, which shows one of the pups being forced into terrifyingly turbulent water to film a scene in Winnipeg, Canada.

The chilling clip captures an animal trainer shoving a visibly frightened German Shepherd into a pool full of water that was being churned by EIGHT motors.

The pup was so opposed to getting into the recreated river that it clawed at the edge of the pool the entire way in.

What's even scarier is that the pooch actually went under at one point. And while we don't know if the script called for the animal to be submerged, we could hear someone repeatedly yell:

So long to the circus!

After 146 years of traveling entertainment and controversy (more on that below), the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus is planning on shutting down, offering its final show in May, according to Kenneth Feld, the CEO and producer of the show.

The news was announced Saturday night on the company's website, and cited steadily declining ticket sales to their shows across the country — even after the company stopped using elephants in its tours, at the request of animal rights activists.

Feld stated simply on the site:
