As part of the hearing to determine whether Howard K. Stern, psychiatrist Khristine Eroshevich and Dr. Sandeep Kapoor should face felony charges in the death of Anna Nicole Smith, a California pharmacist Ira Freemen testified that he flat out refused to fill a prescription for Smith.

A mere four days after her son died in September 2006, Eroshevich prescribed Anna high doses of painkillers, muscle relaxants and sedatives, which he viewed as "pharmaceutical suicide."

"If she got ahold of these medications, it could have fatal consequences," he testified.

And five months later, the pharmacist's predictions came true. She died from an overdose!

The prescription called for eight times the recommended dosage of a hypnotic sedative called Dalmane, prompting a toxicologist to state, "she is way out of her league on this."

Earlier this week, another psychiatrist testified that Anna continued to abuse prescription drugs when pregnant with her daughter, despite her efforts to quit.

So sad.

There may have been some debate over who her father was, but there is no question who her mother is - Danielynn is the spitting image of Anna Nicole Smith!

Very cute - and very big! Somewhere in the last three years she just shot up!

The little lady enjoyed an afternoon with her dad, Larry Birkhead, as they went pumpkin picking in Beverly Hills.

Thankfully, she seems happy, healthy, and bright! We think Anna would have been proud!

The girl just can't get a break!

Even though Anna Nicole's been deceased for almost 3 years the IRS still wants her to pay up!

A tax lien has been filed against the Vickie Lynn Marshall Estate in El Lay for $125,112.86.

We know the government wants their money, but shouldn't they be hounding those who owe a little bit more and are still alive???

Like um, Nicolas Cage!? His bill is currently at $6 million and then some!

The most anticipated testimony in the recent Anna Nicole Smith hearing finally began on Friday as Larry Birkhead, father of Anna Nicole's young daughter, took the stand against Howard K. Stern, Dr.Khristine Eroshevich and Dr. Sandeep Kapoor

Unlike Anna Nicole's former bodyguard, Maurice Brighthaupt, who took the stand before Larry and hashed out all the information he could, Larry surprisingly attempted to stay dignified and polite, answering questions as honestly and as straightforward as possible.

When asked about the drugs he could recall Anna Nicole indulging in, he replied with a list: “Topamax, Klonopin, Lasix, Valium and some sort of potassium pill. Methadone was a regular medication. I didn’t see Dilaudid. Vicodin was used throughout the relationship.”

He continued to explain that he suspected that Anna Nicole was taking extra prescriptions from two different doctors very early on in their two year relationship. He informed Dr. Kapoor of this theory, but nothing ever came of it.

He also divulged into the "working relationship" he now finds himself in with Howard K. Stern, though he recalls the times in which Anna Nicole was still alive, where things were "icy".

But mainly, Larry focused on the terrible quality of life that Anna Nicole endured during her detox from the massive amounts of drugs:

“She’d get up ‘to feed the dogs,’” Birkhead said of one of Smith’s middle-of-the-night awakenings during a detox visit, in which she imagined she was back at home. “The IV cart was still attached to her and I yelled, ‘Anna!’”

Larry will take the stand again today.

We have a feeling this will definitely go to trial, which will probably mean another year of this craziness.

Among the flurry of allegations being tossed around in the Anna Nicole Smith case, one claim that keeps coming up is her alleged affair with a female doctor.

Prosecutors began to stir up claims that there was a sexual relationship between Anna and Dr. Khristine Eroshevich, who is on trial with Howard K. Stern and Dr. Sandeep Kapoor for illegally providing prescription drugs. The lawyers are suggesting that this affair was the motivating factor in the doctor's decision to prescribe medication for Anna illegally.

However, the judge has deemed the claim as irrelevant and has ruled against any further discussion of the topic. As he put it, he did not want this trial to turn into a "circus sideshow."

More details are surfacing regarding the sorted and dangerous relationship between Anna Nicole Smith and Howard K Stern and his role in her abuse of drugs, including an episode where Howard cooked a crushed Valium pill on a spoon and injected Anna with the drug.

Anna's former bodyguard, Maurice Brighthaupt, testified yesterday in the case against Howard, Dr. Sandeep Kapoor , and Dr. Khristine Eroshevich, and revealed a shocking story about Anna's time in the Bahamas with Howard. He unveiled an incident in which Anna began "begging" for drugs to help her deal with the loss of her son Daniel. (He also overdosed.) Maurice watched the tragic model lie naked in an adjoining bedroom while Howard provided her what whatever drugs she wanted:

"I saw him drawing up liquid from the spoon that was being cooked. She couldn't swallow. Anna and Howard felt if they put it in the blood system that it would get into her system quicker."

Maurice confesses that he saw Howard do this for Nicole "four or five" times between then and the day of her death and also saw Dr. Khristine Eroshevich, deliver chloral hydrate to the Bahamas to inject Anna at least once.

So sad! It's hard to hear how bad it was for her in the very end, with clearly no one looking out for her well being.

They should all be ashamed!

At a hearing in El Lay on Tuesday, gruesome details were given about Anna Nicole Smith's quality of life on her last days.

The Playmate was so sick in her final hours that she was nourished with Pedialyte from a baby bottle.

So, when we hear that a judge is using this information to determine whether Anna's lawyer/boyfriend Howard K. Stern should stand trial for conspiring to keep her drugged beyond recognition - we say YES!

According to a detective, she spent her last moments in a coma-like state in a hotel bed covered in her own feces.

She "was unresponsive, her lips were blue and her skin was beginning to be discolored," said Special Agent Danny Santiago.

He also detailed the drugs found in Florida's Seminole Hard Rock Casino hotel room when she died on February 8th 2007 from a prescription drug overdose.

Drugs including Chloral Hydrate, Diazepam, Clonazepam, carisoprodol, Topamax, Cipro and Tamiflu were found strewn about the room.

And it seems that Howard K. Stern, Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, and Dr. Khristina Eroshevich pleaded not guilty to providing Anna with 44 different prescription drugs. Some of them were even made out to Stern under several different spellings of his name.

He even denied hospital care!!!! A hotel employee called a local doctor after Anna complained of flu-like symptoms when she arrived on February 5th, but Stern cancelled the visit because he "didn't want any leaks getting out about Anna's physical condition."

When Anna finally stopped breathing, she was being watched by the wife of her bodyguard, nurse Tasma Brighthaupt. She called her husband after she could not locate Smith's pulse and proceeded to perform CPR.

Most surprisingly, Stern was not even present when Anna passed! According to Brighthaupt, "he had to go see a boat."

We mentioned earlier that Anna Nicole Smith was investigated by the FBI for her involvement in a murder-for-hire plot against Pierce Marshall, son of her late husband J. Howard Marshall, back in 2000.

And her ex-boyfriend Mark Hatten tells Inside Edition that it's true!

Hatten says:

"She wanted me to take care of it for her. If I wasn't going to do it personally, [she wanted me] to get a contract to kill Pierce Marshall…She'd get jacked up on pain pills and this would come out, and she'd start saying, 'Mark, you gotta kill him. I'm Anna Nicole, I can't do it. You gotta take care of this for me. I'll do anything for you. We'll be set.'"

Even her sister, Donna Hogan, believes the allegations - saying that it wouldn't "shock or surprise" her.

While this all pretty juicy, they're both dead now so does any of this really even matter?
