It's true what they say: celebrities really are just like the rest of us.
The 27-year-old penned an essay in the July issue of Cosmopolitan which candidly describes not only her history of being physically and sexually abused, but also the lingering emotional pain and torment she's suffered through since.
It's genuinely one of the bravest and most inspired pieces we've ever read.
The 90210 star begins by describing her strict, religious upbringing and the corporal punishment she suffered through at the hands of her parents.
Going against the masses….WE LOVE IT!
AnnaLynne gushed about her "darling," and even revealed that although the couple's been a serious item since 2011, she's in no rush to walk down the aisle:
"Everybody else is doing it. I got to go against the grain. So I'm holding off."
The 26-year-old also confessed a specific musician's message could've been what made Dominic realize he was in love:
"I was listening to Bryan Adams's 'Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman' on the way over here. And I thought, 'Oh my God, I think he listened to this song and that's how I know he loves me!' "
Ha! Super cute!
We love that this lady has a great head on her shoulders when it comes to relationships!

Santa Monica may be a little bit off in some of the digits of her old zip code of choice, but that didn’t stop her from getting some rays at the pier, and probably getting some overpriced cotton candy!
Although 90210 ended a few months ago, McCord has been super busy, and has two new movies coming out, Sadie and Gunshot Straight.
In addition to acting, the star recently co-hosted the Disrupting Slavery gala at Santa Monica’s own 41 Ocean, which raised over $50,000 to end human trafficking.
Uh, Gandhi called, AnnaLynne, and he wants his awesomeness back.
Riding roller coasters, acting, and being a philanthropist? Is there anything this renaissance woman can’t do?

Oh, Brandon Walsh, you sly dog, you!
But we digress:
The original series star, who has worked behind-the-scenes as a director for the updated version of America's favorite zip code, has taken to Twitter to congratulate the cast and crew on what they've managed to accomplish over the past five seasons…all the while reminding the world that back when he was the leading man, the WB drama lasted DOUBLE that time!
