Anne Hathaway Pens Touching Tribute To Late Princess Diaries Director Garry Marshall

So sad.

On Tuesday, the film industry lost an iconic director. Garry Marshall passed away at 81 years old, and his passing has rocked actors and filmmakers alike.

One A-lister who was hit pretty hard by this difficult death was Anne Hathaway, who had her big break when she starred in Garry's 2001 film The Princess Diaries.

On Wednesday, the brunette beauty mourned the loss of the New York native with a touching tribute on Instagram.

The gorgeous gal shared this sentimental snap with Garry and Princess Diaries costar Julie Andrews (above), penning a powerful message in the caption:

"I couldn't sleep last night.
The moon was too bright and my heart was too full of fresh grief at Garry's passing.
I went outside and sat in the absurd blue-white bath of moon, surprised to see my night shadow,
I thought, 'Garry left on a good night.'"

The momma-of-one went on to absolutely gush about how incredible Mr. Marshall was, adding:

On Thursday night, David Schwimmer stopped by The Late Late Show to help promote his new series Feed the Beast and he ended up facing off against Corden in ANOTHER rap battle!

Anne Hathaway Talks Her First Kiss & Longtime Crush On A Certain Oscar Winner

Anne Hathaway reveals her many Hollywood firsts.

It's press time for Alice Through The Looking Glass!

Anne Hathaway actually seems to be enjoying it, and even came clean about some of her "firsts" during an interview with E! Online.

Besides opening up about her first audition for a no-smoking PSA and her first Hollywood movie premiere, the actress and new mom revealed her first non-movie kiss:

"[It was] at the Maplewood Movie Theater watching Pocahontas. I didn't have my first foot-popping kiss till I met my husband."

Awww!

Going to see Pocahontas also happened to be her first date!

The 33-year-old was even game to name-check her enduring celebrity crush as Leonardo DiCaprio!

"Leo. And my whole thing was, I'm like, 'Yeah, you guys liked him from Titanic. I loved him from, was it, Growing Pains? I remember I was channel-surfing and I was like, 'Who's that?' So long, long crush on Leo."

Now we know she definitely voted for him this year to win that Oscar! Ha!

The time of year has come again to vote for the Teen Choice Awards!

On Wednesday, the award show announced their first slew of nominees which include celebs like Adele, Ryan Reynolds, and Jennifer Lawrence and AH-Mazing movies like Deadpool and Star Wars: The Force Awakens!

But it's really Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, and Zayn Malik that have won the first round of nominations as each artist was nominated three times — each receiving a nod in the Choice Male and Choice Female Artist categories, as well as snagging Choice Song and Choice Hottie nominations!
