Asslee Simpson has a lot of time to spend with her family now that she has been CANNED!

Ashlee, her husband Pete Wentz, his portrait of Gabe Saporra, and baby Bronx hit up the Happiest Place on Earth Thursday.

The family enjoyed all the fun Halloween decorations scattered around Disneyland as well as a little family bonding.

Get used to spending A LOT of time together!

See, getting fired can be a good thing!

It seems that Asslee Simpson's departure from Melrose Place was not just dictated by a changing storyline - someone had it out for her!

According to Star Magazine, the moment that Heather Locklear appeared on set for her guest appearance on the CW show, she was gunning for Asslee and her divatude.

“Heather was jealous of Ashlee immediately,” says an insider. “She knew Ashlee was one of the bigger names on set, and she wanted her gone so she could make it her show. Heather is very politcial and calculating…”

Yikes!

Apparently, no one had any qualms firing Simpson. Heather became furious with her after she had been poking fun of the 48-year old's age with members of the cast and crew.

A clASS act!

Pete Wentz got a little drunk and made his worst decision since marrying Asslee - he got an effing tattoo of Cobra Starship frontman Gabriel Saporta's face!

The Fall Out Boy bassist took to his Twitter to tell the world what he's done to himself.

He Tweets:

my head hurts. i was buzzed lightyear last night. followed thru on a gentlemens bet w/@gabrielsaporta now i have 1 more bad tattoo.

my brain needs to stop kicking my eyeballs in the face. it makes sense in my head.

His brain is just revolting against stupidity!

We're sure the wifey and baby will love it!!!

Looks like The CW has finally realized that Melrose Place isn't going anywhere but down.

The execs just fired Ashlee Simpson - they're guessing that might actually help increase the ratings.

And in an even better move, the network has now replaced the Wednesday repeats of Melrose Place with repeats of their hit show, The Vampire Diaries.

Starting this Wednesday, repeats of The Vampire Diaries will air through the month of November.

Great news for everyone as they'll get to enjoy their fav show twice.

As for Melrose Place, execs are hoping that with Heather Locklear's return in November the ratings will increase.

Our money is still on The Vampire Diaries making it big. Vampires mixed in with a bit of witchery is always a plus!

You should never take delight in someone else's misfortune…

Except for right now!!!!

In a shocking turn of a events this afternoon, it was announced that Ashlee Simpson was FIRED from her gig on Melrose Place. (They are also letting go Colin Egglesfield, but we don't know who that is, nor do we care!)

The producers are leading us to believe that this was the plan from the start, but something tells us that isn't the case. Here's what producer Todd Slavkin had to say :

What was behind the decision to let Ashlee and Colin go?

TODD SLAVKIN: Well, we always knew that this murder mystery would end in episode 12. And we always knew that [Ashlee's] character of Violet would be instrumental in that as a suspect, and [Colin's character of] Augie as well. And once that murder mystery was solved, she would go on her way. That was the original plan going into the development of the show.

So it was always the plan for Ashlee to leave after episode 12?

SLAVKIN: Yes. Because we felt that once the murder mystery was resolved, the tone of the show was going to shift into a much more fun, romantic, sexy upbeat kind of show, and [her] character would move on.

Is it fair to say that if either of those characters clicked you would’ve found a way to keep them?

SLAVKIN: Well, you never know when you go along. But in the end, we felt like it was right [decision].

How did Ashlee and Colin take the news?

SLAVKIN: They’re total professionals and they took it like professionals. When you go into a show you never know what’s going to evolve and what the possibilities are. But because they knew ahead of time [that leaving was a possibility], it wasn’t a complete shock.

We think she was just too expensive to keep around and the producers would much rather filter funds in keeping Heather Locklear on the show than this whacktress!

And a swing and miss for Asslee! At least she got more airtime than Mushy.

What now, hun? Going to go back to that "singing" career of yours?

Or maybe it's time to just GIVE UP!

Looks like the vampire trend isn't going anywhere soon!

The CW ordered a full season of its latest and what seems to be its only hit at the moment, The Vampire Diaries.

The show is currently the most-watched on the network and raked in 3.9 million viewers during last week's episode.

As for the lackluster Melrose Place, the CW has ordered only 5 more episodes and seems to be holding out to see if the ratings will spike at all with the return of Heather Locklear.

And if Heather can't save it, we don't think anyone can.

Asslee Simpson could end up sharing the same fate as Mushy Fartone!

Sad news for the much anticipated DJ A.M. documentary. Earlier this month, MTV received the approval from Adam Goldstein's family to air his intervention documentary series Gone Too Far.

The show features young, real-life addicts and their loved ones while they attempt to get clean with help from Adam. However, the premiere on Monday only brought in 500,000 viewers. That's very low for MTV standards.

We're a bit surprised. We figured people might tune in to view the last bit of Adam's work.

But MTV isn't giving up hope on the show yet. According to an MTV spokesperson, the network still plans to keep the show in its time slot.

As for the reality trainwreck show Jon & Kate Plus 8 Kate Plus 8, their episode actually did better than the previous one. The show went up to 2.5 million viewers this week as opposed to 1.7 million last week.

But poor Melrose Place. People must be tired of watching Ashlee Simpson on the screen as the last episode brought in just 1.4 million viewers. That's a 22% drop and the show's lowest ratings yet.

Cancellation time, maybe?

Wow!

We know it's your birthday, Asslee, but way to shove it in your poor sister's face that you're happily married and she isn't.

Can't really blame her, we guess. Judging by the look of her, she was already hammered enough to be unable to remember a thing about this birthday bash! Thank goodness there is photographic evidence.

Jessica Simpson came out to Las Vegas to celebrate her younger sister's 25th birthday on Saturday. We're guessing by the fact that she never took off the sunglasses that she might have been a little worse for wear as well. However, we'll concede that she deserves to go on a bender or two after the last birthday she celebrated. (You know, the one when Tony Romo dumped her ass?!)

We don't think either of them touched one of those cupcakes, though.

Someone needs to hire a new hairstylist. And fast!

YESsica Alba was spotted out Sunday in Beverly Hills getting her nails done. And, unfortunately for Alba, she's sporting a shiteous new hair don't!

Apparently, her hairdresser dipped into Ashlee Simpson's favorite hair color and effed up Alba's locks.

Seriously, how desperate do you have to be to want to look like Asslee?

You might have taken her hair color, but please don't take her makeup stylist!
