Remember her??? Former America's Next Top Model contestant Toccara Jones attended the BET Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles. And unlike Beyonce and her shiteous dress, Toccara was actually looking pretty good. The former plus-sized model seems to have shed off some of her weight (except from her boobs) and kept it off. Do you think the Academy is having trouble narrowing down their selection? Because this year's Oscars will see 10 nominees in the Best Picture category instead of 5! The Academy Awards originally had 10 nominees a category back in the 1930's and 40's, but over the years the Academy slimmed down their pickings. Academy President Sid Ganis broke the news on Wednesday at a press conference in Beverly Hills, stating that by having 10 nominees, it will "open the field up to more worthy films." Translation: This is all about $$$$$$$$$$. By being able to tout "Oscar-nominated" on their films, the movie studios stand to make A LOT more money. You must CLICK HERE to watch Lady GaGa's electrifying performance of Love Game/Poker Face on the 2009 MuchMusic Video Awards. It was epic! And, what made it sooooo great was not all the dancers or the pyro or any of the other big elements. What made our Lady's performance so magical was HER. She elevated the show to a whole new level and she brought an intensity - of voice, movement and focus - that we had never seen from her before. A performance like that doesn't just happen, though. We saw her work and work and work insanely hard on it all weekend, and even before arriving in Toronto. Hard work pays off! GaGa's performance was Madonna-caliber! It's Jacob Black and Perez!!!!!!!!!!!! Dressed in our gay superhero attire, we attended the 2009 MuchMusic Video Awards on Sunday - our fourth year in a row attending the big event! Perez is part of the MuchMusic extended family, appearing weekly via Skype on MuchOnDemand, and we can't thank them enough for their love and support all these years, and for their love and support after the ceremony as well. We got to do a skit with the Jonas Brothers - so cool! And, we got to meet Taylor Lautner - super dooper cool! Plus, our beloved GaGaloo set the stage ablaze - literally - and delivered the most talked about performance in recent MMVA history! Attention Tweens! You're awards show is on it's way! The Teen Choice Awards are coming Monday, August 10th, and it will be hosted by the Jonas Brothers. If you peeps over 16 need some incentive to tune in, well, here it is: The juggernaut known as Twilight has garnered an impressive 12 nominations, including nods for Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner. The amazing folks over at the Oxygen network have nominated Perezito in the "Best Host" for a Reality or Reality-Competition category, alongside such luminaries as Ryan Seacrest, Tyra Banks, Donald Trump and Heidi Klum.
