And if that wasn't enough shade, the 30-year-old — who won her first ever Grammy last night for Cranes In The Sky (but wasn't able to accept her award during the main show), also said:
UPDATE 12:16 PM EST: We're now hearing the award breakage was not intentional, just poorly made! The Grammy apparently snapped on its own and Adele still has both parts. SAD! LOLz!
Adele is, honestly, the best.
After Kanye-ing herself during her Album Of The Year speech, the Hello singer SNAPPED her Grammy in half so that she could reportedly share the award with Beyoncé. Excuse us while we go pick our jaws up from the floor!
We mean, the British belter already spent half her speech praising Queen Bey's album Lemonade. Not to mention, the A-lister praised the fellow diva when she beat her in the Record Of The Year AND Song Of The Year categories. So this evening was just Adele proving that she's the ultimate Beyoncé stan — and we LOVES it.
The Water Under The Bridge artist made sure to continue with her gushfest about Jay Z's wife even while in the pressroom. The powerhouse noted:
What a great acceptance speech! Then again, we think everyone is just more honest with their pants off. Ha!
When Twenty One Pilots beat out Rihanna and Drake, Sia and Sean Paul, The Chainsmokers and Halsey, and Lukas Graham for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their track Stressed Out at the 2017 Grammys, we were surprised.
When they immediately dropped their pants, we were downright IMPRESSED!
Members Josh Dun and Tyler Joseph took the stage and explained that the first time they ever watched the award show together, it was in their underwear. And they swore if they ever accepted their own Grammy, they would do it with no damn pants!
Ch-ch-check out the adorable story (and undies) (above)!
What a nightmare!
Let's journey back to the 2006 Grammys… it was a HUGE night for Kelly Clarkson as she became the first American Idol contestant to win not one, but TWO awards for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for Since U Been Gone and Best Pop Vocal Album for Breakaway.
The then-23-year-old also took the stage that night to perform her classic ballad Because Of You.
As if the tensions weren't high enough, this was all going on the very same day doctors mistakenly diagnosed the songstress with cancer.
The Stronger singer opened up about the whole ordeal for the first time on Billboard's Pop Shop Podcast this week, saying:
You know how bb loves to surprise us!
Anyway, we're hearing this particular performance will be verrry different from her usual display of high-paced choreography and energy as the 35-year-old is "very pregnant" and "will be taking it easier than normal."
Well, duh! She's got TWO babies in there, people!
Whatever — Queen Bey could literally just sit on a chair, we're just grateful to be blessed with her presence! LOLz!
TMZ also reports the Formation singer is in rehearsals for music's biggest night this weekend, but she won't
The moment is finally here!
As seen on Twitter:
According to Billboard, she will most likely perform a NEW TRACK called Chained To The Rhythm featuring Skip Marley.
