The producers of this year's Oscars must be in a scramble to let this happen!

First, they only nominated two songs for the category, excluding Madge, Elton John, Mary J. Blige, and Sinead O'Connor.

Ladies and gentlemen, all nominees and guests of this year's BAFTA Awards - consider this your warning. When you hit the red carpet on Sunday, you'd better be wearing the absolute best outfit you can get your hands on. You better be cleaned up and prettified to perfection. You better be ready to handle the tough questions … because Miss Piggy is hosting the official red carpet…

And that hog means business!

The likes of George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Michelle Williams and Meryl Streep will all the chance to be interviewed by the world's greatest diva, should they decide to appear at the ceremony. As for Miss Piggy herself, she's eager to be in the presence of Mr. Clooney (since she will be sans Kermit for the evening) and looks forward to getting handsy with him, but not Stacey Keibler! She says:

At Saturday night's Golden Camera Awards, three of Hollywood's biggest stars were recognized for their acting.

We're glad to see this is finally going to happen! Been a looooong time coming!

Way back in October 2010, we heard that Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts were in talks to star in a film version of Pulitzer/Tony-award winning play August: Osage County!

For those who haven't seen the play, it revolves around a grieving mother and daughter who mercilessly argue with each other, following the death of the family's patriarch.

Now, Weinstein Company executive David Glasser is saying that the film may start shooting THIS September, in hopes of wrapping production by the end of 2012!

If all goes according to plan, the film will be in Oscar contention during the 2013 awards season…and we have a feeling it'll DESTROY the competition!
