Divalicious Barbra Streisand has donated $5 million to LA's Cedars-Sinai Medical for a women's heart education and research program.

Did you know that according to the National Heart Lung and Blook Institute heart disease is the #1 killer of American women?

Babs' gift will create permanent funding for the Barbra Streisand Women's Cardiovascular Research and Education at Cedars-Sinai, and the hospital said it would expand research efforts there.

Says Streisand, "Women need to be educated about female cardiovascular disease and the medical community must be propelled toward change. Just like with breast cancer the impetus must come from women themselves striving to become empowered to reduce their risks for heart disease."

Nice to see celebs put their money where their mouth is. And Barbra has a BIG mouth!

This is just much too much!

Barbra Streisand's fagulous son, Jason Gould, also doubles as her dog walker.

The pair - along with their Maltese, Samantha - were on hand at the Elysee Palace in Paris.

Babs performed her first concert ever in France this week.

French President Nicolas Sarkozy bestowed upon La Streisand the medal of Officier of the Legion of Honor, France's highest award, on Thursday.

Her son then took it to the gay bar to try and score some ass!
