Marvel is taking another step towards diversity - though they're clearly sticking with that longterm plan of only employing fabulously talented people!
They're doing both those things by hiring the amazing Tilda Swinton!
The We Need To Talk About Kevin star is reportedly joining Benedict Cumberbatch in the magical Doctor Strange!
Tilda is apparently set to play Strange's immortal mentor The Ancient One.
The character is traditionally depicted as an old bearded man, but after they couldn't find the right fit, Marvel decided to cast a wider net and go with a bolder choice!
Innerestingly, this will be the SECOND time Tilda has taken on the role of a previously male character in a comic book movie; in 2005 she played the archangel Gabriel in the Keanu Reeves version of Constantine.
Doctor Strange is directed by Scott Derrickson and is set to hit theaters November 4, 2016.
One of the UK's biggest charities came stateside on Thursday night, marking the first ever Red Nose Day USA!
The epic charity event really brought the star power with a three hour live televised special on NBC with funny sketches and great performances!
One of the highlights of the night was a Hollywood Secrets sketch (above) featuring Julia Roberts & Hugh Grant. Tons of a-list actors share their memories of working with their fellow glitteratti, but they expose one of the their DEEPEST secrets in the process — their real voices!
The 51-year-old is playing Whitey Bulger, an infamous violent criminal in South Boston who became an FBI informant to take down the Italian Mafia!
Director Scott Cooper talked about how scary close the actor was in comparison to the real life criminal once Depp got in character, explaining:

After pictures surfaced of Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freemen dressed for the 1800s, fans went crazy with speculation. Some thought the characters were in costume for a ball, others said it was for a dream sequence within the special.
But creator Steven Moffat has since confirmed the more farfetched of the fan theories — the upcoming special is to take place entirely in the 19th century!
