Kevin Allred, a professor and doctoral student at Rutgers University, is now offering a course on Beyoncé, which will explore her ability to "effect social change," as well as compare her to the works of Bell Hooks, Alice Walker and Sojourner Truth!

Blue Ivy Carter has a godmother! And it's Oprah!

Oh boy, this little girl is sure gonna live a charmed life.

Reports are surfacing that Beyonce and Jay-Z have finally picked a godmother for their little chosen one.

Since the couple has grown close to Oprah over the past few years, it's natural that they've chosen the legendary Mz. Winfrey to be Blue Ivy's godmother. She's basically this generation's princess, so why not, right?

Jay-Z's pal Tyran "Ty Ty" Smith has been chosen as her godfather since they wanted to make sure that the godparents weren't blood-related.

Well, gee, as if we didn't think Blue Ivy was spoiled enough, now we learn that her second parent in command will be the most powerful woman on earth.

We all can agree that little Miss Blue will never have to work a day in her life, right??

Beyonce nation has spoken. Public enemy #1 is officially Roseanne Barr.

Anyone who knows anything about Roseanne knows that she is not a person to shy away from controversy. Also, she has no problem telling people exactly what she thinks of them and does on a consistent basis. But her "I don't give a shiz" attitude has landed her in hot water with fans of Bey, after she went on a Twitter rant insulting the diva.

In Roseanne's opinion, President Barack Obama was wrong to ask Beyonce to sing Etta James's iconic At Last song at his Inaugural Party in 2009, rather than asking Etta herself. After Etta's passing was announced, she quickly rehashed the issue on her Twitter page, showing no mercy to the President or Bey. She wrote:

OMG! We get it!

Kelly Rowland has been spending time with the most important baby in the world (aka Blue Ivy Carter) and she won't stop bragging about it!

In a rennet interview, the former Destiny's Child member would not shut up about how beautiful Beyonce and Jay-Z's little collaboration is.

For those of us poor pathetic common-folk who have yet to bask in the presence of the perfection that is Blueyonce's face, Auntie Kelly gave a description. According to Kel,

"She is just.... more precious than a diamond. She is so stunning. So Beautiful. I'm so happy for my sister and her husband. She's beautiful."

Okay, we get it. She's pretty. Moving on, Kelly was asked if she's been visiting the baby often. She answered: "Absolutely! You have to be a good aunt!"

Kelly wasn't just gushing over baby Blue and her ability to see her. She bragged about her "sister" Beyonce too. She says,

"Beyonce is an incredible mother. I'm so proud of her, so proud. She's in mommy-vile and her husband [Jay-Z] is in daddy-vile, and the baby is.... beautiful!"

OH STOP IT!

And the nominations are sure to stir some controversy just like the Kid Rock dramz from last year!!

In 2008, Beyonce gave one of her most important performances to date, starring in Cadillac Records as the iconic Etta James. Today, Bey has a heavy heart but words of praise for the woman she portrayed, who sadly passed away today.

On her website (as she still resting from giving birth to baby Blue Ivy), she posted sweet words of tribute to the eternally great Etta James," who died today due to complications with her leukemia.

She wrote:

Big Papa is in the house!

Last night, Jay-Z made his first public appearance since becoming a daddy at the grand re-opening of 40/40, his NYC club. He flew solo for the evening, with Beyonce and little Blue Ivy staying safe and sound at her "executive suite" at Lenox Hill Hospital, but he was happy to chat briefly with the throngs of reporters and photographers on the red carpet about his little family.

He happily thanked everyone for their well wishes and invited them into his club with a huge smile. He was spotted shaking hands and accepting everyone's congratulations while partying with the likes of Ashanti, Russell Simmons, Swizz Beatz and Selita Ebanks. He was also seen doing the classic Dad move of showing everyone who wanted to see pictures of his new baby girl on his phone to friends, "beaming" from ear to ear the whole time!

Such an exciting time in his life! We're so thrilled for him!

She's been by her daughter's side since her birth -- but tonight Beyonce's gonna pAAArty!

Sure, it's only been 11 days since she gave birth to the most important child in the world, but that's not stopping her from making a red carpet appearance!

Tonight the world is reportedly set to see Queen Bey's post-baby body at reopening of hubby Jay-Z's 40/40 Club.

Will Beyonce look back to her old self?

No, it's only been 11 days since she pushed a baby out of her! Unless Blue Ivy has special healing powers -- which is tots plausible -- the new mom is NOT gonna be showing off a rock'n body.

Guess we'll just have to wait and see if Beyonce gives the surrogate conspiracy theorists something to talk about!
