Do NOT mess with Queen Bey 'less you want the princess tweetin up a storm!!
Loyal and protective, Solange is naturally gonna fire back at any one who says anything less than heavenly about sister Beyonce.
So now that Blue Ivy has arrived, and everyone is fueling the rumors of surrogate this and surrogate that, Solange just can't keep her mouth shut any longer.
Nothing, NOTHING, can surprise us about the over-the-top birth of Beyonce and Jay-Z's daughter! Not anymore!
Beyonce didn't just have an entire floor to herself and an army of security guards -- she had Lenox Hill Hospital re-constuct the delivery room and hospital suites she stayed in!
A insider with the hospital reveals that,
"A month ago, [workers] tore down 6-8 rooms and turned them into 2 suites."
And that momma Bey and Papa Jay "paid to have it constructed just for them."
Naturally, these luxury suites had mahogany walls and, according to the source, "You'd want to live in there!"
The room was finished a month before Blue Ivy Carter came into the world. Since Beyonce couldn't use anything that had already been used, the space that was formally 8 rooms just sat there waiting form them.
No word on what's become of the fancy rooms now that the king and queen of hip-hop have left. Perhaps they'll keep it reserved until Beyonce needs to give birth again.
"There's nobody really in my league. There's competition everywhere. The whole music industry is competition. There are people who like other artists, those who like me and others who like both. Beyonce is a great artist, and I feel honored to be mentioned in the same sentence, but we're different performers with different styles."
A few SUV with blacked-out windows and a total synchronized army of security guards was all it took to get newborn Blue Ivy Carter into her first car!
Beyonce and Jay-Z made sure every moment of their stay at Lenox Hill Hospital was "safe" (the OCD meaning of the word) including their dramatic exit.
It all went down at 1:30 am this morning, while all the paparazzo were at home dreaming about snagging Blue's first photo.
Hip-hop's sneaky royal family made a speedy exit from the hospital's back loading dock. A witness said the strategic transportation plan was "very precise" and "military-like."
No word on the new family's current whereabouts, though we think it's safe to assume they're somewhere heavily guarded... oh, and super fabulous!
The hospital where Beyonce gave birth to Blue Ivy is clearing the air on what exactly went down during the singer's stay there.
Lenox Hill Hospital in New York is denying reports that that Beyonce and co. paid over $1 million to rent out the maternity floor and allowed her security to deny other patients' family to visit their children.
The hospital's executive director Frank Danza released a statement on the matter:
"Lenox Hill Hospital and its staff were delighted to welcome the Carter family for the birth of their firstborn on Saturday evening, but we are troubled by the misinformation being circulated in some news media reports. The suggestion that the couple paid $1.3 million to rent an entire maternity floor is simply not true. The family is housed in an executive suite at the hospital and is being billed the standard rate for those accommodations. Our executive suites are available for any patient, including the food service and amenities provided to the Carter family.
The family does have its own security detail on site. However, the hospital has been and continues to be in control of managing all security at the facility. We have made every effort to ensure minimal disruption to other families experiencing the births of their own children over the past three days. No security plan that we or the Carters' security team put in place would have prevented or delayed families from gaining access to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and to date, no families have complained to the hospital about being denied access to the NICU.
Lenox Hill Hospital takes patient privacy and safety very seriously. And while we congratulate the Carter family on the birth of their child, we value the loyalty of ALL of our patients and always strive to ensure a positive experience, knowing that the birth of a child is a wonderful moment producing memories that last a lifetime."
Damage control! Damage control! Damage control!
LOLs JK, we're sure they're being honest and upfront about their actions and not just covering up the fact that they pissed a lot of people off by catering to the Carter family.
That's not what other patients say happened, but you know, whatevs.
It sounds like Beyonce and Jay-Z chose their daughter's name by pulling random words out of hat, but of course there has got to be more to it. After all, this IS the most important baby since Jesus (according to Kanye)!
So how did the music super stars come up with Blue Ivy? Simple, they were inspired by their own art!
The Blue comes from "Blueprint." As in Z's 2001 album The Blueprint, or his 2002 record The Blueprint 2: The Gift & The Curse and the new father's last solo album, The Blueprint 3 that came out in 2009.
The origins the newborn's middle name may be a little less self involved. Ivy could stand for "IV" aka the Roman numeral for 4. The number is oddly important to the couple: Beyonce's birthday is Sept. 4, Jay-Z's is Dec. 4; they got married on April 4; and we hear the couple even has matching "IV" tattoos on their wedding fingers. Also, Beyonce named her latest album 4, which is fitting.
So, though it hasn't been confirmed, we're pretty sure the power couple named their baby after their albums. LOL!
Now the real question: what were they smoking when they came up with that name?
In Jay-Z's beautiful and very honest new song Glory about his baby girl Blue Ivy Carter, Jay writes a very revealing lyric about his wife Beyonce.
He says:
Last time the miscarriage was so tragic / We was afraid you'd disappear / But nah baby you magic.
He also briefly mentions the night Baby-Z was conceived (in Paris??) and even includes an audio sample of Blue Ivy's cries just moments after she was born.
We're heartbroken that Beyonce had to suffer through such a tragedy. But thankfully, little Babyonce aka tiny Bey-Z has entered our lives and made the world right again.
And if you haven't heard the song yet, check it out above. It's the best baby anthem we've ever heard.
The Luxor headlining illusionist was recorded having quite the verbal altercation with Joe Monti, one of his magic producers on Wednesday, during which Angel is heard threatening to knock him out - and now he's had a police report filed against him!
Give it a listen (above)!
Furthermore, Monti later said to authorities that he recorded the meeting because Angel has a history of bullying employees!
He explains:
“I wanted him to know how demeaning he was. I created 50-60 percent of the magic for ‘Mindfreak.' I have no reason to do anything vindictively but I draw the line on violence.”
