Billy Ray Cyrus is back… and so is his iconic mullet!
In a fitting plug for his new show Still The King, the one-hit wonder started the set off by covering Elvis Presley's Don't Be Cruel.
But between the inneresting rendition and the mullet mane, we were pretty grateful when the rock band segued into their smash hit Surrender!
While we're still wrapping our heads around these seemingly random duets, we're loving the '70s jam!

Maybe it's because he overdid it with the ultra coiffed locks??
Miz Cyrus chose a sparkled peach gown with thigh slits, a high neck, Aldo heels, and Zoë Chicco jewelry, while BRC opted for tonight's favorite material… denim!
He completed his look with distressed boots, a leather jacket, and what can only be freshly dyed hair and beard.
But enough descriptors, we really need to know…

Then the Hunger Games alum confused the sh*t out of us when he straight-up said he was
Our hearts are anything but achy and/or breaky right now!
As you may have already seen, Canadian rocker Bryan Adams joined the long list of celebs cancelling gigs down South due to discrimination over the weekend, and it looks like he inspired Billy Ray to do the same!
In fact, the former Hannah Montana patriarch followed his friend's lead by sharing a message to his Facebook fans on Monday, saying:
He's just being Billy.
Billy Ray Cyrus may have gotten famous for his Achy Breaky Heart, but it sounds like his true passion all along was acting.
Still the King is CMT's first attempt at original scripted comedies, so we think Billy Ray is the perfect man for the part.
Not only is his character a once-famous musician, but he's pretty much showing us what Hannah's life would have been like if the Disney Channel sitcom documented her fall into alcoholism and pill addiction. LOLz!
The rest of the cast includes Lacey Chabert, Leslie David Baker, Kevin Farley, Travis Nicholson, and Jon Sewell, so don't be surprised if this country bumpkin hour actually turns out to be good TV.
Ch-ch-check out the trailer for Still the King ahead of its premiere on Sunday, June 12 at 9 p.m. EST on CMT (above)!!!
This is one tight-knit famous family!

The 54-year-old captioned the precious pic:
"Happy birthday @MileyCyrus! You've already had such an incredible year and I know that 2016 is gonna be even bigger!!!!! #HappyBirthdayMiley."
She sure has!
So naturally we're super excited to see what this sensational celeb does now that she's another year older!

The 23-year-old was so smitten with Billy Ray Cyrus' daughter that he couldn't help but break out into nervous sweats!
"#tbt When you're 13… hanging with your first crush and you're trying to play it cool. #wheresmydeodorant"
Poor guy. Happens to the best of us.
At least we can all laugh about it now, right??
Since, they've both moved on to other serious (and public) relationships. The Scream Queens star dated Selena Gomez, Delta Goodrem, and Olivia Culpo — while the Wrecking Ball singer was engaged to Liam Hemsworth and dated Patrick Schwarzenegger and Victoria's Secret model Stella Maxwell.
Which reminds us… are the two both single now? Innnneresting.
