It looks like Jon Bon Jovi owes this guy a BIG thank you! Or at the very least a Have A Nice Day!
Four years ago, Jeremy Fry was at a Boston Celtics game when they started blasting Living On A Prayer throughout the TD Garden to get the fans going, and he suddenly noticed that he was on the big screen!
Well he made the most of his few minutes of fame by breaking out into an AH-mazing Bon Jovi impression that got the entire crowd involved!
Although the video is from 2009, it has found new life on the interwebs and has been viewed 11 million times and shared on Facebook 1.6 million times, and that's been a VERY good thing for Mr. Jovi!
Why, you ask? Because all of the extra attention has boosted Living On A Prayer to #25 on Billboard's Hot 100 list this week!
That's right, the song has seen nearly an 11% boost in sales since the video went viral, but most of the success has been due to streaming! Just in the U.S. last week, the song was listened to 5.1 million times on Billboard's Streaming Songs section of their website!
Wowzers! Look like these two make a pretty perfect team!
Ch-ch-check out the video that sparked the Bon Jovi revolution …AFTER THE JUMP!!!
What becomes a man's lifelong dream after he's reached his first dream of becoming a famous and rich rock star?
Owning a professional sports team, of course!
It's weird how that happens — we've seen it before with musicians. There must just be something about not having to pay for games (even though you can afford them now) and having the best seats in the house (even though you can still probably use them)!
Jon Bon Jovi wants to buy an NFL team!
Jon Bon Jovi loves New Jersey!
It's his hometown, and his name is synonymous with the Garden State….
…Which is why we were so happy to hear that the singer and his band are donating a cool million dollars to NJ's Super Storm Sandy Relief fund!
In fact, he's so not happy that Jon is even calling him out for substance problems AND says he's completely replaceable! Take that, professionalism and friendship!
Richie's departure from the legendary band came as a shock to the world, and didn't leave Jon with a good taste in his mouth. Here's what he said:
There is a new law in New Jersey that says that if you're overdosing on ANY drug, you can call for medical assistance without the fear of legal repercussion! This SHOULD save lives!
Naysayers say that this is just a removal of a deterrent from taking drugs in the first place!
Here's what Bon Jovi said:
