It seems the next Fifty Shades of Grey film will keep even truer to the book than the first!
We told you Fifty Shades Darker lost its director Sam Taylor-Johnson and writer Kelly Marcel. Now the confirmed sequel finally has a new screenwriter.
Of course, Niall Leonard isn't new to author E.L. James — he's her husband of 20 years!

Niall — who has screenwriting credits on the British television shows Wire In The Blood and Air Force One Is Down — reportedly did some uncredited work on the first film as well.
This seems like a clever move by E.L., who reportedly clashed with the previous writers over how closely the films should adhere to the books.
Rumor is E.L. wanted to pen the scripts herself, but the studio wouldn't let her.
We're guessing she'll get the movies she wants now. Or she and her hubby will have to have another creative meeting in the Red Room of Pain! LOLz!
