Melissa Rivers is following in her late mother Joan Rivers' footsteps and joining Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski as a co-host on the new season of Fashion Police starting on August 31!

Melissa was already involved in the show as a producer, but now she'll be taking on full-time critiquing duties!
"I'm very excited to be given the opportunity to continue to work with my E! and Fashion Police family."
And so are we!
Jeff Olde, the E! network's executive vice president of programming and development, is also very happy about it:
"As an executive producer since the beginning, Melissa helped shape Fashion Police into an iconic TV series that couples fashion with comedy. We are pleased to now also feature Melissa in front of the 'Fashion Police' cameras, as she joins returning panelists Giuliana and Brad. And with the added flavor of rotating panelists, the show will deliver fresh, different and unpredictable fashion reviews with each new episode."
It's gonna be great fun, we're sure! And hopefully there won't be any more racist jokes.

This is just so sad!
We sometimes forget that it wasn't necessarily the Zendaya scandal that ruined Fashion Police — It was also Joan Rivers' tragic death.
Even though the E! show is scheduled to return this fall with Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski, Melissa Rivers is finally sharing her insight on the state of the series.
In an interview on Monday, Joan's daughter compared Kathy Griffin, Kelly Osbourne, and G's feud to a grieving family, saying:
It's about time!
While Giuliana Rancic announced that she was going back to Fashion Police last week, it's only fair that the one person who wasn't actually involved in the scandal got to confirm that he was returning too.
Giuliana appeared on Access Hollywood Live! on Wednesday and told the world that she knows that Brad Goreski will be accompanying her on the panel, but didn't say if she knew who else would be with them.
But not only was the 40-year-old co-host pumped for the E! series to return in the Fall, she seemed pretty happy with the controversy as a whole, saying:
Fashion Police is coming back, but will Giuliana Rancic be on the panel?
On Monday, the embattled host appeared on The Today Show to reiterate that she is NOT a racist and that her comments about Zendaya's dreadlocks were heavily edited and taken out of context.

Towards the end of her interview, Savannah Guthrie asked G is she would return the E! show, which went on hiatus after the now infamous comments. Giuliana cryptically replied, "We'll see."
Well, the 40-year-old gave a definitive answer in an interview with EXTRA on Wednesday:
Did Kathy Griffin resign from her hosting job at Fashion Police because she was getting fired?
Sources close to production say the comedienne — who only lasted seven episodes — angered the staff by rejecting ideas and badmouthing the show.
And while the 52-year-old spoke fondly of her short stint in her resignation tweet — Kathy reportedly wanted to quit three times. Producers had talked her into staying by promising they'd let her do her own brand of comedy, but those promises ended up being empty.
Would this count as a fashion faux pas?
We were pretty surprised on Thursday when Kathy Griffin announced that she was quitting Fashion Police… but we're even more surprised by the news that the E! series is going to continue with only two of its hosts!
As you probably know by now, after Giuliana Rancic made those distasteful Zendaya comments, Kelly Osbourne promptly quit over the racist controversy, leaving just G and newbie Brad Goreski on the panel.
And while the future of Melissa Rivers' show seemed bleak, the entertainment network revealed that it has no plans of cancelling the stylish show!
