After a four year hiatus, The Killers are returning for 2012!

Frontman Brandon Flowers confirmed that the Band will be back and have already recorded several tracks.

Flowers has been busy baybaymaking, blooming three little blossoms of joy.

Mr. Brightside also said that the band doesn't want the new album to be a Hot Fuss 2, Sam's Town 2, or Day of Age 2.

The Killers' mission: Getting back on the charts.

In a new video for Mormon.org, Brandon Flowers discusses how difficult it is being a touring musician and raising a family.

The Killers frontman talks religion, music, and family, while he and his wife Tana Mundkowsky show off their sons, Ammon, Gunnar, and Henry.

Excellent! Brandon Flowers just wasn't the same without them!

The Killers' drummer, Ronnie Vannucci, recently revealed that the band already has a pile of songs ready for their upcoming album, and that they plan to meet on May 17th to begin writing sessions together!

He explains:

"Tuesday [May 17] I think we start doing some writing again. We have piles of songs we want to show each other. We're going to get back in that room and start working."

Just what we like to hear, guys!

Hopefully this hiatus means you've all got some pretty exciting material ready to develop together as a group!

Congratulations, Brandon!

Brandon Flowers, The Killers frontman, had an adorable baby boy back in mid-March. Henry is Brandon and wife Tana's third son!

Even though he's a rock star, Brandon has his eye on being a good daddy:

“I love music, but I want to spend more time with my children. I’d like to be around when they start school.”

So sweet! We bet they'll grow up to be just as talented!

It's been a really long time since we've gotten some new music from The Killers, but it seems Christmas is coming early for fans this year.

The band plans to release a charity single in two weeks - a Christmas song, which has been a tradition for the group since 2006.

No word what the song might be, but it will be available November 30th and proceeds will benefit World AIDS Day, which is the next day.

Nice! Totally worth coming out of hiding for.
