On Tuesday, the biological mother of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's adopted daughter Zahara vocalized her interest in becoming reconnected with her flesh-and-blood. Huh.
As you may recall, Angie initially adopted the Ethiopian-born child as a single parent in July 2005 and, at the time, it was believed that Zahara's birth mother, named Mentewab Dawit Lebiso, had died. By 2006, the Fight Club actor had also legally adopted the little girl.

However, in 2007, Mentewab came forward and revealed she wasn't dead. Sadly, it was too late for her to regain custody of her child as the adoption was "legal and irrevocable." Nonetheless, as Brangelina's messy divorce and custody battle have made headlines across the globe, Mentewab is eager to reconnect with Zahara.
