After hearing all the pleading from fans and Brooke Shields in the press, NBC has added the four remaining episodes of Lipstick Jungle to its schedule.

The Hollywood Reporter says the show will return to air Friday, December 5, and is shifting the show to a slightly better time slot — 9 p.m. instead of 10 p.m.

The remaining episodes will air on December 12th, then January 2nd and 9th.

But, NBC still hasn't decided to order more episodes beyond its original order for 13.

For fans and Brooke's employment sake, the show better score some kick ass numbers in December and January!

Somebody's lying to Brooke Shields!

Despite reports otherwise, the actress is saying that her show, Lipstick Jungle, has not been canceled.

On Sunday at Kidfest in NYC, Brooke claimed that "Our bosses are saying, 'You’re not canceled, don’t worry. We’re just trying to figure out how to make this make sense.'"

Someone will be going down in flames for this if the show really is scrapped!

Brooke also went on to say that fans had been sending in tubes of lipstick to NBC prez and CEO Jeff Zucker to show their support. That would be all of about…5 tubes - we hoped they picked some flattering colors for him!

Brooke the Ratings Scientist hypothesizes that "I mean, we're basically No. 1 if you look at DVR. And you look at all that. So the public is watching it."

She said she'd be "heartbroken" if the show got canceled, because the "family atmosphere" is such a "perk."

Lipstick family memeber Kim Raver said that she too would be bummed about a cancellation. She said, "I think on Monday there are emergency meetings as to what's going to go on."

By "what's going on" we think they might mean "hand out pink slips" signed with a lipstick kiss good-bye.

Poor Brooke Shields.

She might be looking good, but we can't say the same for her show.

Turns out that Lipstick Jungle got a series LOW of only 4.3 million viewers last week.

And that's not a good sign considering it dropped from a low of 5 million from it's October 8th episode.

But, to make matters even worse, NBC has announced that they are changing their lineup.

Lipstick Jungle is now being shafted to the Friday time slot.

And, that of course means, more likely than not, that the series will soon die out or be cancelled!
