This fall, Discovery Channel wants you to kick back and relax with a bag of cool ranch doritos and a quart of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and peanut M&M's and chocolate chip cookies and pop tarts as you watch their new reality series Weed Wars!
Discovery's new series will take place in the "largest medical marijuana distributorship" and it will "follow the day-to-day dealings of a California ganja store."
Here's what executive vp at Discovery Nancy Daniels had to say about the show:
Yeah, we'd have babies with these two too!!! LOLz!
What to Expect When You're Expecting already has a very long and strong list of female cast members ready to strap on bellies and become pregnant for half the time and none of the pain. Now, a few of their male counterparts have been announced as well and neither of them are that bad to look at!
Chace Crawfordand Matthew Morrison have both recently signed on for the film. We're not too sure who Chace will be playing, but the scoop on Matt's character "Evan" is that he " teams with Cameron Diaz's character on a celebrity dance show and eventually teams on a pregnancy, forcing them to re-evaluate what's important in life."
Babies tend to do that!
Hmm. Art imitating life? We're you guys an item for a brief, A-Rodless time???
Our girl Anna Kendrick, who everyone LOVED in Up in the Air, is set to star in the new Lionsgate film What to Expect When You're Expecting!
The film adaptation of the bestselling book is in the same family of movies like Love Actually and Valentine's Day in which it focuses on an interlocking group of stories and characters.
Anna's character, Rosie, finds herself on a funny yet meaningful journey with an old lover AND surprise pregnancy! All after they randomly reunite through a food truck war. LOLz!
Oh em gee. With her in that storyline, our hearts are bound to just glow and break at the same time.
After last week's disappointing performance with The Green Lantern, the box office turned around this week with a whopping $230 million - an increase of 40% from last year.
AND, not only that, but looks like Cameron Diaz has finally broken her bad streak. With so many recent flops, her movie Bad Teacher debuted in second place (just under Cars 2's $70 million) with an estimated weekend box office gross of $31 million.
Very, very impressive! And we think you better thank Justin Timberlake, Cam. Or at least his fans.
Reviews haven't been that great, but we definitely think the movie has the JT touch.
As for the rest of this weekend's top five films, here are the box office results:
Now we know why she's been so coy about whether or not she'll be returning to American Idol!
Last week, Jennifer Lopez seemed pretty unsure as to whether or not she'd be returning to Idol next season, and maybe this is why: She's up for two roles in major feature films!
First, she's in talks to star alongside Jason Statham in
By now you know Cameron Diaz is everywhere promoting her new movie, Bad Teacher.
But it looks like her high overwhelming press schedule has made Cameron forget what in network TV appropriate!
In this clip from her interview with Jimmy Fallon Cameron tells Jimmy about how much her "character" from the "movie" totally hearts booze and weed - then things get a little personal.
This comes after ex-bf and Bad Teacher co-star, Justin Timberlake, recently admitted to ganja smoker himself.
Kids, your lesson here is pot give a couple longevity don't do drugs!!!!
At least, we think it is! Almost positive, actually!
Angelina Jolie was at the Berlin International Film Festival today, where she is screening her directorial debut, In The Land Of Blood and Honey out of competition, when she announced that the long-rumored project was next up for her - even though she didn't specifically call it by name!
She explains:
"I haven't acted in two years, and I haven't done anything else since this . The next thing I am looking at is a Disney movie. The best thing to find that balance is to do something that is just for children. You know, you find different ways to make things matter. When, for example, you do fun action movies, they are empowering for my daughters."
And since we've gotten word that the Luc Besson movie she had been eyeing seems to have stalled, and Maleficent recently got Robert Stromberg as a director, we think it's safe to say that the Linda Woolverton-written adaptation of the classic fairy tale is definitely where we'll see her next!
