Kim Richards' Ex-Husband Can't Make Their Daughter's Wedding Because Of His Terminal Cancer — Read His Emotional Explanation
The Real Housewives star's ex revealed on Friday that he won't be able to make it to his daughter Brooke's wedding, captioning this sweet snap (above):
"My daughter is getting married on Saturday, her dream wedding on the beaches of Cabo. Everyone left this morning but unfortunately for me for health reasons I wasn't able to attend."
While he won't see the celebration between Brooke and her fiancé, Thayer Wiederhorn, he did have the opportunity to walk his little girl down the aisle.
Brooke's aunt, Kathy Hilton, held a ceremony in her home last August so Monty could hand her off to her betrothed.
Kim's ex continues, explaining how grateful he is that he even got that opportunity, and how he's lucky to be alive even today, saying:
"I've still been blessed that I was able to walk her down the aisle in August. As everyone knows last May I was given a few months to live, but guess what I'm a fighter and its a year later, still not giving up."
But, he says his "prayers have been answered," since his daughter is getting her dream wedding, thanks to funding from the Fatburger family.
He also hinted that he might throw caution to the wind, and just make a shocking appearance anyway, confessing:
"I know I'm crazy but I do have a private plane at my disposal and might surprise everyone if I show up Sat. I don't think my dr would like that but I can be stubborn sometimes."
We can't tell if he's joking or not, but whatever he chooses to do, we hope it's the best decision for his health!

Celine Dion Talks About Her Sick Husband, And How He's The Only Reason She's Prepping To Perform Again!
That's the Power of Love!
René Angélil is recovering from throat cancer surgery, and when the Canadian singer does take the stage again, she wants to make sure he sees it!
"If there's going to be one person in the theater that night it's going to be him. It's going to be for him. I want to make him see me strong again."
Celine's husband-slash-manager was the reason she took a leave of absence from her residency at Caesars Palace, and now, he's the reason she's getting back in her groove at the end of August.
"The reason we did not come back before was because I wasn't emotionally ready to come back. My husband and my family needed me, they still do."
The vocal powerhouse explained that she's willing to do anything for him, even if that means performing again.
"He wants me strong. He wants to see me again because I'm his favorite singer. So, he wants me out there, and I have to say that I'm ready."
The songbird explains that while battling with cancer and fighting for his health, her husband never stopped working at their relationship or her career.
"Knowing that he has a lot of weight on his shoulders, his focus is still show business. It's very touching for me because he wants me to have a good time. It's not selfish, it's like, 'I'm with you and I want you back. I want you strong. I want to see you perform again.'"
Near, far, or wherever you are on August 27, Celine will be on stage in Sin City, performing for an audience, but most importantly, for her number one fan, René.

Valerie Harper is such a strong woman.
The actress has had a long battle with cancer. Back in 2009, she beat lung cancer, only to be diagnosed with brain cancer in 2013.
But now, she's finally come to terms with the disease.
"I'm ready. I'm ready to go. Maybe that's the secret. That I'm absolutely – I don't want to, my God, I want to live to be 102."
On Tuesday, while supporting Lung Force — an organization the hopes to unite women against lung cancer — she announced that she feels better about her prognosis:
"Sometimes I feel icky, but I'm feeling very good in New York. Maybe because I'm working or I'm talking about cancer in a positive way – I think that might have something to do with it."
The Mary Tyler Moore star says the good news is that her cancer isn't progressing! She explains she's just going about life one step at a time.
"When I wake up in the morning I don't say 'Oh, I have cancer. I say 'Another day. How you feeling? Good? Good.' And when I do have little twinges of something I go 'Oh my god, is that a headache? What is that?' And I say wait a day or two, it might just be a headache and usually it is … so far."
Even though she's doing great right now, she's still living with a realistic outlook.
We're glad Valerie is in a good place mentally, and we hope that her health follows suit!
