It's said Pattie died peacefully at her Palm Desert, CA residence. As a TV personality in her own right, we're sure Daly Caruso's passing is devastating for fans as well as her loved ones.

In case you forgot, Pattie hosted the popular Coachella Valley TV show Valley Views for over 25 years. She was also a noted philanthropist as she worked closely with the American Cancer Foundation, Eisenhower Medical Center Auxiliary, and the Ronald McDonald House following her own bout with breast cancer.

We're definitely keeping Pattie's friends and family in our thoughts during this sad time.

Things got really emotional last night on The Voice.

Miley Cyrus, who will be returning to the NBC show as a judge next season, took the stage to perform her new single Malibu, which she dedicated to her "good friend" Ariana Grande in light of Monday night's terrorist attack in Manchester.

Similarly, Usher and contestant (and ultimate winner!) Chris Blue teamed up for an emotional rendition of R.E.M.'s Everybody Hurts, which host Carson Daly said was an effort to "lift people up" following the tragedy.

It's been announced that a version of the show is returning to the network and will be tentatively titled MTV Live. The show will debut on June 12.

MTV president Chris McCarthy said:

"That ability to be live, in culture — not responding to it but driving it — is where we belong."

The new show will be set in the same TRL Times Square studio, which is about twice as big now, and will feature both music and other elements. Sounds exciting! We hope TRL staples Britney Spears and the Backstreet Boys make appearances!

When the show launched in 1998, it basically just featured Carson Daly counting down the most popular videos of the day, but it quickly exploded into an opportunity for celebs to promote themselves and fans to meet them. Peeps like Diddy, *NSYNC, and Jennifer Lopez made regular appearances and performed as well. It was the best of times!

In honor of this new installment, let's take a look back at some of the most memorable moments from the show's ten-year run (below)!
