The 57-year-old revealed he once flew from the U.S. to Australia just to visit the beloved actress — only to be met by her husband Andrew Upton – and recently had two dreams about her, which weren't interrupted by her spouse.
Kilmer, who appeared alongside the Aussie actress in the 2003 Western The Missing, kicked off his peculiar rant on Friday by claiming he once flew to Blanchett's home to see her — but (thankfully) was met by her husband Andrew Upton instead.
Sharing an up-close-and-personal selfie, the 57-year-old wrote:
This movie is going to be so out there, and we fucking LOVE IT!
Everything we've heard about Thor: Ragnarok (outer space, gladiator Hulk, Jurassic Park reunion) makes it sound like the craziest movie of 2017, and the colorful first official pics seem to bear that impression out.
Dressed in a glittery gold bodysuit and tuxedo jacket with her face fully beat complete with sparkly red lipstick, the multiple Oscar winner mimed to Dusty Springfield's rendition of Lesley Gore's You Don't Own Me and brought down the house!
She even walked through the audience and stuffed dollar bills into her bra! And later also lip-synced to Adele's Hello!
So what does exec producer Selena Gomez think of all this controversy? It's pretty much what she was going for. She told the AP:
"We stayed very true to the book and that's initially what Jay Asher created, was a beautifully tragic, complicated yet suspenseful story, and I think that's what we wanted to do. We wanted to do it justice and, yeah, that's going to come no matter what. It's not an easy subject to talk about, but I'm very fortunate with how it's doing. I'm overwhelmed. I'm very proud of it."
Whatever your reaction to the show, it is getting a lot more people to talk about the problem of teen suicide.
