Orlando Bloom will earn $1 million dollars to appear as Legolas in The Hobbit - for less than two minutes!
He is not confirmed, but it is expected any day now. Sir Ian McKellen, Cate Blanchett and Elijah Wood will all appear in The Hobbit, but Orlando is making more money on a per minute average than all of them.
Wowsa! Good for him.

We like this idea! What a great way to link the films together!
Now that production is FINALLY underway on Peter Jackson's prequel to his Lord of the Rings series, The Hobbit, it sounds like yet another cast member from the original trilogy will be reprising his role!
Elijah Wood is reported to be portraying his role as Frodo Baggins in the opening sequence of the new film, reading a book that would re-introduce viewers to the story and the world all over again!
Lovely! Between he, Orlando Bloom and Cate Blanchett returning, we think that the The Hobbit will fit nicely as a companion to the other films!
What do U think?? Are U happy to see the return of Frodo??

Middle Earth has been blessed today with a wonderful surprise.
Peter Jackson has revealed that Cate Blanchett will be returning as the Lady of Lothlorien in The Hobbit. Of her return, Peter said:
"Cate if one of my favorite actors to work with and I couldn't be more thrilled to have her reprise the role she so beautifully brought to life in the earlier films."
She sure did! It'll be nice to see her as Galadriel again!
As for some of other casting news Ken Stott has been chosen to play Dwarf Lord Balin, Sylvester McCoy will play the wizard Radagast the Brown and Jed Brophy, who also appeared in the original The Lord of the Rings will play the dwarf Nori.
Excellent! Sounds like things are coming together nicely now!

For the second consecutive year, Shia LaBeouf holds the title for making the studios the most profit!
According to Forbes, the actor brings in $81 profit for every dollar he is paid.
Anne Hathaway took second place for generating $64 in profit, followed by Daniel Radcliffe with $61, Robert Downey Jr. ($33) and Cate Blanchett ($27).
Impressive.

If this is the best opener they could get than we're scared as shiz for the rest of the line-up!!
Ridley Scott's SHITEOUS-looking Robin Hood is set to be the first movie screened at this year's Cannes Film Festival, which starts up May 12th!
As everyone probably knows, the movie went through some serious dramz in pre-production, which included massive script re-writes, star Russell Crowe being forced into fat camp, and Sluttyienna Miller being replaced by Cate Blanchett!!
What a mess!! Not even the trailer could make it look watchable!!
Robin Hood opens worldwide May 14th.
What do U think?? Do U want to see Robin Hood?

For a pro like Cate Blanchett, a little bleeding from the head can't keep you away from the theater!!!
Although the award-winning actress suffered an injury during a Sydney Theatre Company performance of A Streetcar Named Desire on Tuesday night, Blanchett is already returning to work!
"Cate Blanchett was accidentally struck on the head by a prop. She sustained a minor injury but felt fine soon afterwards," said Sydney Theatre manager, Rob Brookman. "Unfortunately it was necessary to cancel the rest of that performance. Cate is fine and tonight's performance will go ahead as planned."
Although theatergoers who witnessed the performance are surprised she is heading back to work so soon.
"By accident, it [prop radio] hit Cate Blanchett and she fell down on all fours," said a source.
Another witness claims, "She had blood streaming down the back of her head and blood on the back of her neck."
Yikes!
Take it easy, bb!

Cate Blanchett suffered a head injury during a live performance of A Streetcar Named Desire at The Sydney Theatre Company on Tuesday.
Ouch!!!!!
The actress was reportedly harmed by a prop radio thrown by fellow cast member Joel Edgerton.
The radio hit Blanchett in back of her head, drawing blood! She continued to act for 30 seconds more before running offstage.
Soon after the lights were turned on and the audience was instructed to leave the theater due to "technical difficulties."
We sure hope she's OK!
