Leave it to Charles Barkley to say what we're all thinking in the boldest way possible! LOLz!
When asked to comment on Jason Collins coming out as a gay NBA player, Charles had some choice things to say… and mainly, he wants everyone in the NBA to realize that if they think they've never played with a gay player, that they're a bunch of idiots!
Not only that, but Charles believes that jocks have gotten a bad rap for a lot of years, and that absolutely the NBA is ready for more gay players! He believes that society is more homophobic than teams in locker rooms!
Guess what! We think he's right!
Check out the great interview with Anderson Cooper (above)!!
Ch-ch-check it out! He did it for a new Weight Watchers campaign, which not only has the highest weight-loss success rate, but also worked for Charles personally.
Here's what he says in the interesting ad:
“Diet is not a man’s word because we don’t like to diet—we like to eat. Like a lot of athletes, I’ve gained weight since I’ve retired. But, I don’t want to be a fat, old man taking lots of pills. Weight Watchers is helping me change my lifestyle and learn how to make smarter eating choices anywhere I am.”
He's actually talking about making sure you don't gain all that hard-lost weight back! Charles has actually lost a lot of weight doing Weight Watchers, so he knows what the's talking about — he looks fab!
We aren't usually huge fans when sports players host SNL, but on his third time at the helm, Charles Barkley actually gave us one of the funnier monologues that we've seen a while!
He seemed to be really comfortable taking shots at himself, and we like to see that:
Kanye West may not have been having the best week - between the gay rumors, his latest temper tantrum, and a bruised up Lamborghini - but we have a feeling that with this weekend, all of that's about to change!
The sometimes-volatile yet supremely talented rapper has been hard at work recording his new album in Paris, and apparently, has few very creative, larger than life tricks up his sleeve for how he's going to begin its promotional campaign!
Which, of course, started last night, when he projected a video of himself performing his brand new single, New Slaves, onto the sides of 66 BUILDINGS LOCATED ALL OVER THE WORLD!
Ch-ch-check out to what the folks of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, were treated on the corner of Bedford and N. 7 (above)!
