Cheryl Fernandez-Versini isn't getting that quickie divorce from Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini she wanted.
Despite filing the papers for it back in 2015, the estranged couple are still very much married.
One source dished:
"Cheryl filed for divorce before Christmas and hoped things would be done and dusted by now as she is keen to move on with her life and new relationship with Liam [Payne]… This should have been dealt with absolutely ages ago but things have turned very sour."
There's more though!
We love her… but this is a TERRIBLE career move!
And it sure doesn't hurt that Andrew Lloyd Webber himself is her biggest supporter having utilized her numerous times as Christine in Phantom of the Opera.
Unfortunately, it seems as though Nicole isn't too appreciative of the legend taking a chance on a pop star because she just chose X Factor over one of the most famous musicals of all time!
Apparently, Nicky was supposed to begin rehearsals for Cats on Broadway next week but decided last minute to return to the UK singing competition now that Cheryl, Rita Ora, and Nick Grimshaw have all quit!

Rita shared her decision in a heartfelt message to fans on Twitter late Monday night, saying:
The cute couple was snapped after touching down in Paris on Monday, making their way through the Charles de Gaulle Airport.
After all, they don't call it the City of Love for nothing!

That's because it was reported on Wednesday that the 32-year-old pop star will be going simply by her first name Cheryl starting next month.
Apparently, Cheryl wants to rebrand herself following her breakup with Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini and will make her mononym debut at the Global Gift Gala in Paris this May.
A source close to the X Factor judge confirmed the name change to Daily Mirror, saying:
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has confirmed she is quitting the popular singing competition series to focus on her music career!
The former Girls Aloud singer told reporters that she broke the news to Simon last week over dinner in El Lay — and her boss completely supported her decision!
Speaking to The Daily Mail, the 32-year-old had only nice things to say about the series and working with the music mogul, but admitted she "missed making music."
Ah, young love!
"I saw them together and we had a really nice dinner. They were on good form. They're like two little chipmunks madly in love. Literally, they were so cute."
Wow. Who knew the 56-year-old would be gushing this much about the couple??
Simon also added he "didn't have a clue" about the two's relationship until the news broke, but he confessed:
