The stars came out in all their splendor for The Great Gatsby screening at the Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony on Wednesday.

Julianne Moore was one of the first to bring the GLAM in a two-toned Christian Dior gown with voluminous purple organza skirt.

This is a reverse Monet look — it's not as fabulous from afar as it is up close.

Once again, we simply cannot stop marveling at the 52-year-old's incredible skin and shinier than shiny hair.

The actress and jury member brought her A-game once more to The Great Gatsby screening and Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony on Wednesday.

Looking full-on fabulous in a multicolor, embroidered Christian Dior Haute Couture tea-length dress and pink patent Jimmy Choo pumps, Nicole raised the bar for everyone who followed.

And we just LOVE that bouffant!

We were hoping beyond hope that Carey Mulligan would turn it OUT for The Great Gatsby screening at the Cannes Film Festival Opening Ceremony on Wednesday, and we're happy to report that she did!

After a series of understated, all-black looks, Daisy Buchanan came to her senses and DAZZLED in a luxe Christian Dior ivory gown, sparkling jewels, and soft, wavy hair.

There's something so romantic about this image of her holding an umbrella and looking wistfully into the distance.

It really captures the melancholy mood of the movie!

Now THAT'S a genius way to promote!

Let the Cannes games begin!

Nicole Kidman started things off with a sartorial bang at the 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival as she arrived at the Martinez Hotel for cocktail hour with her fellow jury members.

Wearing a glittery, navy Christian Dior dress and perhaps strappy Jimmy Choo pumps (it would make sense, wouldn't it?), the actress gave off true movie star glam!

And her sleek, mid-length hair and red lips are SO CHIC!

Even the men behind her can't stop staring in absolute awe!

Sorry, boys, she's taken!

Despite his recent Parsons cancellation, John Galliano has been slowly reemerging ever since he was fired from Dior two years ago for his controversial Hitler remarks.

Now the designer is finally ready to open up about the incident in a new interview with Vanity Fair.

Hmm…maybe this is why he cancelled.

In the magazine's July issue, he will talk about the remorse he felt and his hopeful plan to return to design. While most of the details have been kept under wraps, it will be interesting to get an inside look into how his career has changed over the past two years.

In fact, even his publicist Liz Rosenberg is in the dark about the interview, revealing that she has "no idea because I haven’t seen the article, adding, "I don’t know if there’s a slant."

Hmm, we'd be interested to know. And, you better believe we'll be picking up a copy when the July issue hits shelves.

John Galliano's highly anticipated workshop at Parsons The New School for Design has been cancelled and it's all his fault!

Apparently Galliano refused to participate in the three-day "Show Me Emotion" master class, which included a "frank conversation" with BFA students about his career, because he didn't want to answer questions about the infamous comments that got him fired from Dior.

On Tuesday, Parsons informed students the workshop's been axed, explaining in a lengthy email:

Some people tried and failed with the punk theme, and some people downright ignored it.

Marion Cotillard was one of those people.

The actress looked like a punk rocker's goody-two-shoes girlfriend in a pastel-colored, ruffle hem Christian Dior dress at the Met Gala.

Houndstooth Dior heels and '40s-inspired curls completed her very-not-punk look.

Guess we know who Raf Simons favored tonight, and it wasn't Marion!
